it does its the aluminum shifter bushing.......it shows it right there for the 04+ tl. its under the hood where the shifter cable connects to the links at the tranny. for arguements sake it acts like a bearing in the shifting process. the stock ones are all rubber. they suck! the metal ones are complimentary to the shortshifter i went 2 years without them like a dick and kept going to acura n having the bushings replaced because it felt like crap after a few hundred shifts.... at which point my mechanic at acura got pissed n said its time to find better metal ones.
okay well if this will fix my shifts i will be so happy. my shifter without the short shifter are terrible. the shifter has become very wobbly and feels different every time i shift. in some cases causes me to grind gears which i hate. how hard is the install?
