^^^Haha speaking of which, a good friend of mine had a rotation in miami for med school for a couple of months. One night when he was taking the train someone asked to "barrow" his phone to call his mom. Of course he was sincere and gave it to him to use. Once it was in his hands this kid booked it and was gone!
I actually made a slight video with my 4S of me exiting my neighborhood. Ill throw it up tonight.

So I have been watching your videos pretty much every other day or so rockstar since there is not much to do out here in Afghanistan. I just want the exhaust more and more every time I watch though. What type of wrap did you use on yours? By type I mean how long was the roll? The brand and also the width of the roll?

Not a problem just doing my job. Thanks though and will do on the staying safe part. Thanks for the info on the wrap also.

Throttle body upgrade
Just found this on HT wondered if any of you guy's or girls had done this yet.
P2R Throttle Body Adapter, SH-AWD TL Throttle Body onto 04-08 TL/TL-S & 03+ Accord V6
This new Power Rev Racing throttle body adapter will allow you to bolt up a 09+ Acura TL SH-AWD 3.7 throttle body onto your 04-08 Acura TL or 03+ Honda Accord, and also 06+ Honda Civic Si. Why put a 09 Acura TL SH-AWD throttle body on your car? Here are the Sizes
04-08 TL & 03+ Accord Throttle Body Size:
Inlet ID: 67mm
Outlet ID: 65mm
09+ Acura TL SH-AWD Throttle Body Size:
Inlet ID: 80mm
Outlet ID: 70mm
Dyno test on a 04 Honda Accord proved 6hp at the wheels across most of the RPM band. Gains should be slightly higher on a 3.2 TL & even better on the 3.5 TL. This adapter comes silver with a clear anodize for a smooth quality finish. The adapter is also tapered for a smooth flow. The adapter will also allow you to bolt up the 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD throttle body onto your 2006+ Civic Si. The drive by wire plugs right in and works!

Apology and a new thread related question.
I understand this is a vendors thread and apologize if I offended the guy's at RV6. This is one of the more active threads and there are some people on here who know a thing or two so I figured I would ask. Though I have been on Azine since 2009 I never really used it until a month ago. It is the best source of knowledge I have found yet so again I just figured I would ask. To the guy's at RV6 as soon as you start with the taking deposits for batch 3 I will be ordering.
With that said I will post something applicable this time. Is there a gain to be had from upgrading from V2 precat deletes and J-pipe to the V3 items respectively?
And Mr. CRABBY BY NATURE you might should try a nap. It might help with some of that hostility.

I got email from Richie yesterday. This is what he said.
Hello Everyone,
We are working hard to get to first 10 systems out this month. With
all the components going back and forth from welding, polishing and
plating we haven't had a complete set to take pictures of. I was
hoping to get a idea from you guys about what tip finish and exhaust
inlet diameter you wanted. This decision isn't final it just gives me
an idea on what to make first in order to help expedite your orders.
For the tips we have both polished stainless and polished stainless
plated with black chrome.
For the exhaust inlet we have a 2.5" inlet which will mate up with all
aftermarket and OE jpipes. We also have a 3" inlet that can be used
with custom setups ideally for turbo cars.
Best regards,
Rich

but a 3" inlet on non FI applications would rob power due to lack of backpressure?! Is that why there is an option?
Pretty cool...that black chrome finish looks great. I wonder how it'll hold up to the elements/temperatures over time.
I only say it because I have a black chrome shift knob and over time the blackness started coming off.
I can't wait till Richie gets caught up on full production and the next run of them so he can get that 3D design going on the base tip! I know, I know...broken record.
Thanks for sharing that!

^^^ Jeremy, I know a lot of NA guys running a 3" downpipe and have made awesome power....Inaccurate/Sonnick are the few who come to mind....
so if I reckon right, he will be coming out with a new jpipe in the near future....it will have the 2.25" primaries which will merge into the 3" collector and people can run the 3" downpipe exhaust OR the RV6 3"inlet which will split off into 2.25" downpipes ....this will be an aggressive setup....

As I have just learned of Richie's exhaust products, and have had my TL for many years. I am sad I missed out on the current batch of exhausts.... ;[ I hope it isn't much longer till the next batch.

I was glad I jumped on it in late March. Patiently waiting... Are there any new updates or pictures for us?
Emailed directly and haven't heard back from Richie yet...
fingers crossed.

Still, waiting is tough - pics certainly help
Doing little things like changing oil and filters to keep myself occupied and the wallet in check until we get these only works for so long

how long has sencond batch folks been waiting? I know us first batch people waited roughly a year some less others more, but I will say this it has been 100% worth the wait....I've had mine now for 1yr and half and roughly over 15k miles on it and exhaust still sounds and looks amazing!! I live in northeast where winters aren't so friendly and roadsalt everywhere.....Richie has perfected this exhaust no doubt.....Still get compliments on how good this exhaust sounds!!
