although i can never afford this i feel most would want their own tips on, but you can save a couple with the tips for those that want to upgrade with it.

personally the tips arnt bad but its too big for my taste i like the size and shape of the atlp and stock ones.

Have you considered the RV6 layaway plan? Just send me $25 a week for a year and the exhaust will be yours.

I would be in to purchase this with the jpipe.

Something smaller than 4" tips would be great..3.5" I think would be ideal.

If you were to go with a system that doesnt have tips - where is the best place to buy your own?
Local exhaust shops?

if you get a updated tips ill really consider it, im looking at building my own exhaust soon but if you can make a tip that look more like atlp (like a stright pipe out the mufflers) or a titainum tips (i dont really like how the tips are you can see how it transits to the 4in tips) you will have a customer that is truely interested.

i do love the twin piping design all the way down after the cats. a true exhaust to compete with atlp!

So far, very nice... I just don't want to put a deposit down until I see what the tips are going to look like for the quads. After you get some feedback on the tips could you put up a poll for the community to vote on?
If I like the tips I AM ALL IN

I would check out JEGS or Summit Racing.

I would be interested also, if they tip was more like the ATLP... i also dislike how you can see the transition of the tip.

I would use average numbers instead of peak. They do a better job of representing the gains throughout the powerband.

Stock TL with RV6 Exhaust only ($1,299)
[$92.79/hp $59.05/tq]

14 WHP average gained
22 WTQ average gained

Stock TL with RV6 Exhaust and V3 Jpipe ($1299 + $350 = $1,649) [$45.81/hp $41.23/tq]

36 WHP average gained
40 WTQ average gained

Stock TL with RV6 V3 Jpipe only ($450)
[$30/hp $37.50/tq]

15 WHP average gained
12 WTQ average gained

Not to sound like a broken record but I too am a very serious potential customer pending some new tips. Something a little more subtle would work wonders for me. I think the burnt titanium would look great as long as it was not to over the top. Or a little larger than stock type s tips? I would want to see some options before making up my mind.

I would be installing the exhaust myself so I would prefer if tips came with the package (so I don't need to bring it in to a shop)

Great looking package though and I love the idea of buying this with the Jpipe for some nearly forced induction level gains

This looks amazing, love it. A pair of high flow precats would make it the perfect exhaust package for a na TL!

Nice job it looks very well made but I don't want to argue but your dyno sheet seem not real, it's look like you draw this. Have you a vid of this dyno? Why the exhaust systeme pair with the stock J-Pipe make 4 more whp than with the v3 J-Pipe?? Again it's not to argue with you, your work look amazing

The V3 JPipe numbers are actually higher than without the stock JPipe.
What Richie meant that there was an additional 16whp/19wtq added ONTOP of the RV6 exhaust.

Don't know why you had to re-enter his original post and I was a little thrown off by your poor grammar but I think Richie made a mistake when he gave us the numbers so I am with you. I think what he meant to say was that the j-pipe gave him 16 whp and the exhaust gave him 20 whp, approximating 36 whp with the v3 j-pipe and dual exhaust combined.

You can actually do titanium-anodized tips yourself...
Two processes that I know of:
Heat and electricity.

I really like it!!

Would it be possible to run the same tim all the way to the canister, like the last ATLP they made becasue I like the size and finish of the RV6 quads but the short tips are the only thing that hurts the system. If you just run the same tip just all the way to the canister it will look so good count me in!!

yea, if i had the tools, the technique, and the balls... THEN I would do it, but I don't think so. I actually seen someone try to do themselves, and ended up melting the tips, and the tips came standerd on the exhaust , so he had to buy some more cans.

Wow 36 Hp and 40 Tq that is AMAZING!!! So if you got the pcd's also you would have a completed exhaust and similar power gains to a SC. That sounds too good to be true. Too bad this is way out of my price range.

PCD / Exhaust / J-pipe all from RV6 = +50 WHP. That is insane.

No disrespect too XLR8 or ATLP, but Richie had perhaps the worst J-pipe prior to his V3 and he worked his way up too satisfy us performance enthusiast with a better product at a reasonable price. Richie works for the people, I love it

Terry919: beautiful. I love that look on WDP. Guess I'm not so sure after seeing it that it would look as good on a ASM. I'd like to see more options on tips before I make a decision.
