I plan on continuing the jpipe and test pipe special. I usually raise the price when the product is stock. But with this recession I think everyone needs a break.

err......
answered my own question.
"Test pipe is the naming convention for the resonated straight pipe (the one that bulbs out).
Race pipe is the naming convention for the non-resonated straight pipe."
but hope they r in stock too :-(

I have the jpipe, deletes, and test pipe combo for around $75 off retail.

what about replacing the back side precat delete pipes for those of us that have major vibes from that flex joint? I am getting some major sounds from mine. Just noticed when I was next to a building yesterday. You can hear it vibe...as if its two pieces of metal rubbing together in the flex joint area or something is what I am assuming.

OMG, every time when I come into this thread, I have this un-explainable urge to just go to Richie's website and order the precat-jpipe-3rd delete combo! Damnit!

I'm undecided... which would produce a better sound? The resonated or non-resonated?
I'm still undecided... go with this package and still have money to get the rear camber correction kit for my TL-S or get the ATLP exhaust system... decisions... decisions...

Jpipe and third cat delete power wise and money wise outperform any catback... Not my opinion, it's a fact...
With the stock exhaust and replaced jpipe you actually preserve much more low end torque which is where most of us spend 99% of the time

I don't think thats what he meant. I think he meant that with any CB, you will sacrifice some low end torque for top end power. But I don't think it's true in your case though, since you have an S/C, that will produce more than enough back pressure to compensate for bigger pipings that comes with any Catbacks.
I would think that pound for pound, precat+jpipe+3rd delete will produce more power/torque than just a catback exhaust. But of course, you can always combine all these mods, and have some crazy gain. lol
Btw, is that your Ferrari is the avatar? Badass!

Not j-pipe+third cat delete vs catback + jpipe+ third cat delete?
