Rotora caliper kit + RacingBrake 1pc rotors
Hey guys,
I need some help.
Can the 4-pot caliper kit from Rotora (RCK003.02) fit on my 2005 base TL with RacingBrake 1pc (stock diameter) rotors?
These are the rotors I have, purchased from HeelToe.

The kit you can just Google.
Any input would be great.
Thanks

Let me get this straight... $1200 for 2 calipers, 2 adapters, a couple nuts and bolts and SS lines???
I'd rather call josh @ excelerate performance and get a wilwood 6pot kit for the same price
To answer your question... Yes, the racingbrake oem spec rotors ONE PIECE (junk rotors) will fit w/ the rotora "kit"
Ps. Wilwood bbk w/ 2 piece rotors and 4piston calipers is the shiznit and under 1200

To the OP, check which Rotora calipers you're getting. The "1pc" rotor calipers are narrower and the so check the width of the Racing brake rotors and go from there. If I remember right, the stock replacement rotors are narrower and the 1pc rotor calipers are what you want. Maybe Heeltoe can chime in.

Well Al, before you jump on my nuts and talk shit, I wouldn't be paying $1200... more like half
I wasn't really looking to mod the TL anymore but I can get a good deal on the CALIPER kit only (without rotors). Thats why I'm wondering if I can just use my 1pc RB rotors.
And BTW, I like my RB slotted rotors... no issues whatsoever.
I hate cars, thanks. As of now, it's all too confusing. I'm going to have to figure out what size rotor the RCK003.02 kit will fit. Hopefully it'll fit a stock size rotor and I should be fine with the RB ones I have.
BBK is really just an aesthetic mod for probably 90% of the members on here. Like whoa.

Wat I ment to say is... 1 piece rotors are pretty much junk... They're all just flat pieces of metal doesn't really matter the brand
Ie. Rb 1p Rotors = ST 1p Rotors = Rotora 1p Rotors = Brembo 1p Rotors
A true upgrade would be to get bigger rotors ie. A 12.6" or bigger rotor
Hell dude my sentra's got 12.6" rotors and a 2piston calp

There's a lot more to rotors than just how many pieces they're made of. A lot more.
Number of pistons does not make a huge difference in all out braking. It enhances brake feel and pad life. It can make a small reduction in stopping distances with a good driver. However, our cars have ABS so modulation is not the most important thing. If the multi piston calipers use a larger pad, it can lead to cooler pad temps and increased pad life.
Size is not everything. Construction and material have a lot to do with it. My 1pc Rotoras have performed flawlessly at the track. The stock 12.2" Brembos are more than enough for any street scenario and with good pads hold up pretty well on the street. I have to ask why a Sentra would need 12.6" rotors given it's power and weight.
The main advantage to the 2pc rotors is weight. Second is cheaper replacements once you get past the initial purchase. All out performance potential will only come out at the very limit of the rotor's heat handling capacity. 2pc are less warp prone under very high heat conditions. I'm not aware of any warping problems with the stock 1pc Brembos.

You are 100% wrong here.
You obviously have not read all of my propaganda, that has yet to be challenged in the last 4 years.

But that does seem pretty costly for an upgrade that would be inferior to getting an HT-Spec Stage 3 Kit.
