((resonator)) choosing the right one

So I had the mid muffler delete...although the sound is decent, I would like it ABIT louder....I heard that with the removal of the resonator this would be the solution.

The question is what kind of resonator is the best to sound similar to a g35 coupe tone, and volume?

What is the price for them, and if someone could provide a link to where to purchase that would be great. Sound clips help too lol...thanks everyone..!

My mechanic suggests removing the resonator completley and just making a straigh pipe,so in total NO RESONATOR, and NO MID muffler (WHICH IVE ALREADY DONE)...

whats better for me to get that g35 loudness and exhaust note?

either a dynomax resonator?

or straight pipe it?

Just try removing it all together. Adding a resonator may just make it quiet again. If you dont like the sound after its done then look for a resonator.

Ive heard it online with the magnaflow and dynomax resonator, i find they both sound echoed and raspy. Im not sure what a straight pipe would sound like.

I just did the mid muffler dynomax mod and it sounds much better in person then some of the provided sound bytes....If its louder with out the resonator it will probably be too loud for in-cabin comfort though (IMHO).... Today was nice out in MD about 70 degrees and I probably burned a quarter tank of gas just listening to the sound of the new improvement I'd say go for it

OK where did you get the dynomax resonator? how much?

can you send me a sound clip, one that isnt right behind the car? like a drive by one would work!

I just dont understand why my mechanic says that putting a resonator even aftermarket on will silence it?
