Tsudo is the only "cheap" exhaust I've seen for the TL. A lot of members here bash it, but overall reviews seem pretty positive. I think it's around 500-550 new and looks similar to the comptech exhaust.
EDIT: Looks like its actually only $450 with free shipping here:

OP you have many options here:
1> look into the black market....you might be able to see some ATLP/XLR8 exhaust with a trade for stock exhaust and some cash....this might fit in your budget....
2> also look into Comptech or Tanabe or Tsudo exhaust....some vendors might have it for sale around the price you mentioned.....
3> go to a muffler shop and have them fab you one....mufflers/tips/resonator of your liking should be around 200-250 and the labor and piping should be another 300-350....so you have an exhaust for $550-600
4> if you are just wanting a little growl....look into a stage 2/3 exhaust....you should be able to get this done in less than 200 bucks
5> if you are wanting to change the look as well then just do a stage 2/3 exhaust and change the tips to your liking....this again should be around 300-ish....

yeah what swoosh said.
i got my xlr8 quad exhaust for $550 locally, and turned around and sold my type-s exhaust for $400. sometimes you have to wait for deals but they do pop up, especially now that the car is getting older...moar and moar people are parting out.

OP, I know you're only 18, but you're going to make your TL look like crap if you get only what you can afford.
Between this thread and your other thread about cutting springs, you just need to save your pennies and mod your car the right way. You never know when a great deal will come along; I've gotten 90% of my parts used and have saved a ton of money.

Yup what they said.
Not that you have to buy the highest dollar parts to be cool here. At the end of the day its your car.
But if you are gonna buy the elite Honda model and get a 3G TL why not cherish it with a little better quality parts, whether new or used.
Take pride in ownership is what I am saying.
