Quick question about throttle body and intake?

I have a V1 right now and about to trade it for a V2 and heres the deal. I have to ship him my V1 and hes gonna ship me his V2. I use my car daily and was wondering if i can go drive about 10 miles each way to my work and home with out a stock intake or a CAI? Would that ruin anything in return? It will probably be going on for about a week until the shipment gets to me. Let me know if anyone has done this before and what was the outcome? Also for people wondering why dont i just put a stock one, the stock is at my other house in Jersey so thats a no go, since im at Tucson, AZ.

10 miles with no filter? I don't suggest it but if you have to, make sure it's a nice day, absolutely don't drive if you can see any sort of dust in the air. It doesn't take much to cause lots of wear to the top end of the engine. As long as there's no noticable dust and you're only doing 10 miles you will be fine. Keep in mind the crankcase will be open to outside air as well. Clamping a filter onto the TB would be even better.

Yeah ill probly just buy a quick filter from pepboys and gets a clamp to the throttle body jus for safety. rather pay 20 dollars than 2000 for a new engine.
