Interested in a stage 3 exhaust mod...
- delete mid muffler
- weld on a straight pipe
- remove stock resonator
- weld on a dynomax resonator


has anyone gotten a check engine light from it?

would it void my powertrain warranty?

 

1) Not to my knowledge or in my experience.

2) No, but it would possibly void any warranty to your exhaust downstream from the mods.

Just do it. It's a safe, inexpensive mod, although you'll soon want an aftermarket exhaust!

 

thanks a lot! i've just been hearing that the stage 3 will be too loud that cops would pull me over nd possibly hand out a fixing ticket. then i'd be screwed cuz i don't have a spare exhaust

No, it won't attract any attention from the police. It's no louder than a stock G35 coupe.
