Excelerate...for some reason, it looks like your website is not working. I've tried to get on your site 5 times, but no luck.

It fits the TL 04-08 (ALL) and RL and MDX. We will probably be the only dealer carrying these in a few months once everyone else has sold off their inventory.
So I take it you have a pretty large inventory of these? I want one but need to wait a while as funds are low...

Gene, I talked to my Service Writer at my dealership. He said you must have the specific Honda tool to insure you get this done properly. I've got to think there is someone close that can do this with you/for you.

you dont need the tool necessarily... you can do it with a socket the only problem is that it says (the manual) once ur up to "X" amount of ft lbs you mark the top of the nut and turn it another 1/4 turn......thats the only part that bugs me out because what if i something goes wrong?? lol shit out of luck at that point.... the tool helps with leverage if u dont have a lift

I live it Tampa Florida. I also called a Honda Dealer and they said they would NOT do the mod as its a liability to them. I really want this done with the proper tools and preferably by a Honda mechanic.

yes you do need the tool. you will never get the bolt off as the pulley will keep spinning.

after you swap the pulley out, put some locktite on the bolt and you will be fine

Thats what I thought also. But I didn't need it. Mine just came right off. New one went right on!

Any one what to buy my old tool? Never been used. I just would like to get my cash back...

i got the bolt off with a 2.5ft long 3/4inch ratchet and socket. if u dont have that then i guess u cant get it off.... i actually installed it on some guys MDX when he came to my shop to have his seat re-upholstered....I saw it and said hey whats with the pulley ?? hes like ehh no one around here wants to install it and acura wants too much.....so he threw me 80 bucks and 20 mins later i was done.... i had to borrow a larger lbs/ft torque wrench from snapon to get it on because the one i have isnt for high torques like for the pulley.
