Problem AEM Cold Intake

I installed the Aem cold intake about a week ago.. I saw a slight increase in gas

c*sumption ( Not that much about 2 dollars ).. And a Huge Increase in SOUNDDD GROARRRRSSSS...(but not that much in hp) .... I found out in the manual , in the last page it says something about the "Off ROad " extra power .. The installer did not complete these steps accordingly to him it may have trigger the engine light... (I doubt it ) But I dont know,.. But he also told me that the AiSensor ??? did Not fit properly the Bolt Hex , .. The Install Looks clean and really good after I checked days after to see if everything was under control under the hood... I went ahead and told him not to do the last page "the Off road extra HP " since he mentioned engine light to light on and did not wanna be in the dealer due to that (you know NO wARRANTY) I guess anything after this install the engine wont be covered (correct me if I'm wrong)..

I'm really confused ... I really want to have this last step completed . I can try myself, But I need feedback and EXperienced - Steps by steps (besides the last page manual I Have ) and pics (marked) if you have it please,,... This will also help others in the same situation . .. .

i have the last page done - moving the AIT sensor - and no check engine light. i think most all members with CAI have done this w/o any problem.

mine was installed by my brother and his buddy, who are pretty knowledgeable in cars, told me it's better to have the AIT sensor before the air gets warmed up in the throttle body... makes sense, i suppose.

btw, installing the CAI does not void all warranty on the engine... only when/if the problem was caused by the aftermarket mod (which the dealers have to prove).

i'll see if i can snap some pics for you tomorrow.

Check my signature, you might make out the picture ...I think the installer may have not been able to do this due to inexperience....
