Make sure you get the resonated atlp, and just get the straight pipe richie has if you get the resonated catback
The reason I say get the resonated catback is so you won't get any rasp

Hey guys,
I ordered the ATLP exhaust for my TL-S recently so I am going to get that installed as soon as it comes in. I have the ATLP JPIPE on the stock system now already but had a few questions.
I am going to order the RV6 precat deletes to maximize my power gains but am now sure if I should keep my stock 3rd cat, run a straight test pipe or run a high flow cat. I am concerned if I run a straight pipe it will be to loud and aggressive and if I run a high flow cat it will still remain restrictive.
What do you guys think.. high flow cat? straight 3rd cat or keep the stock cat?
Thanks!

If you run either the high flow cat or straight test pipe your sound difference will be very minimal between the two. If you are looking to maximize power gains go with the straight test pipe.

So how hard would it be to install the precat deletes? I've been contemplating getting these but the install seems like a PITA.
I did my own exhaust and intake...can it be much harder?

well you would need to remove the radiator fan passenger side to get access to the front cat, but you have a lot of play room in the front and you can see all the bolts. Just remeber to take off the heat shield first as that will help you get the cat out way easy. Its the rear cat that is a pain in the ass as you need to remove the strut bar to get access to the cat than you are working blindly and all by feel. Removing the 3rd cat it a real bitch if you are doing a j pipe. Same as the front take off the heat shield first than you gotta wiggle and shake the rear cat out. Than install is way easier since the precat's are way smaller and can get in without having to wiggle and shake in. Plus blind install of the nuts make things a little hard. It took me 8 hrs with no help to install aem intake, p2r throttle body spacer, pre cats, jpipe and race pipe. But the precats was the longest to remove and install. Well worth the money spent and now that i am catless and one muffler i really can feel the pull more on the high end.
