Possible to swap Type-S motor into my 06 TL 6MT

Possible to swap Type-S motor into my 06 TL 6MT
Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and I have searched everywhere for an answer. Would it be possible to swap a 07/08 type-s motor into my 06 TL 6MT? What would need to be replaced as far as wiring and any other parts. It seems easier/cheaper to swap the motor instead of stroking it out. Thanks for the help.

If you want bang for your buck, pick up a J35A6 from an 05'+ Odyssey (EX or LX models only) & drop it in. Complete plug and play swap & budget friendly.

^post your thread!! "teh CL" has swapped the J35 from teh oddy and a J35 6MT from a TL-S i think into his base TL

Is there anadvantage to the J35A6 over the J35A8 other than price and not having to replace the trans?

No, the J35A8 is the superior motor but with that said, you won't be disappointed.
