Push Button Ign - Turn off the motor into ACC 1 Possible?

Sorry I couldn't make the title explain my question better - I'm curious to know:

Can you turn the MDX off into ACC 1 from a running motor?
Or alternately, does a delayed power state exist when you turn the car off w/o opening a door (ie radio/windows still have power until a door opens)?

(ie, in a standard keyed car, when you turn the ignition back one step to turn off the motor, you end up in ACC 1, radio running, ac off, windows operable etc - or in some cars cases, delayed radio/window power until a door opens)

Is this possible, or anyone tried? I didn't come across it in the user manual

Thanks!

You push the button twice. In effect killing the engine and turning it to position one. Dont use the brake while doing it.

I recall reading that and trying it - iirc, the radio dies in between presses? I'd really like to click the motor off with no break in radio/nav etc - the annoying part is having the system die and then take 30sec to be responsive again after it boots up...

You need to press the On/Off button before putting shifter in P then it goes to Accessory mode instead of OFF.

p. 141 of manual

NICE find!

I've done that inadvertently (first auto trans I've owned) and thought I was about to mess something up - it's a counter-intuitive solution, so it must be OEM lol.

Thanks Kirill!

You can also hold the transmission shifter button (in park) while also pressing the start button, without touching the brakes.

Nice, just tried and it worked like a charm. And I like this way even better than the one I found in the manual.
How did you find this ? I don't remember seeing it in the manual.

Tried the same (hold the transmission shifter button (in park) while also pressing the start button) but with the foot on the brake pedal with the same result - it went to Accessory mode instead of OFF. So, looks like the key is pressing the shifter button and touching or not the brakes doesn't matter.
