07 TL Type S 6mt gear set into 04 base TL mt transmission?
Hi there. I’ve been searching for the answer, but can’t find the answer, so I’m going to ask here. First off, My 04 Base TL 6mt has bad syncros. I was wondering if the Type S 6mt gears and syncros can be swapped into an 04 base TL 6mt? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The mainshaft is the same part number for the 04-06 6MT & 07-08 6MT, so those gears/syncros will swap over easily.
The countershaft however, is different. You'd have to grab the Type S countershaft along with the corresponding gears/syncros.

Thanks for the info. So then everything in this link should be able to be swapped into the base trans? Also, is there a rebuild kit available for the base 6mt? I can’t seem to find one.

Also have a set of gears from an accord that I bought, came damaged and the seller wouldn't so anything. So it's also just gears with good syncro's.
I'll try and get to it by this weekend and will PM you with what I have.
