Sonnick that looks awesome....
couple things:
1> porting the runners is awesome but you want the side that hits the heads only polished and not ported....a lip will create turbulence....
2> the P2R gaskets does have a little wider opening....but all you need is a dremel with a sanding bit and you can port the gaskets....that is how i did for my previous setup one...
but yeah Andy/thisasianboi/Keith all do a great job....cant go wrong

Thanks Anil. Yea, Ken said he only polished the head side which I was very happy about...I wasn't sure initially. They all do great work and I wouldn't hesitate to send anything to them.
Just so happens I'm still waiting for some bolts to get the 3.7 install under way. The 'big' installs never seem to happen on the days planned LOL.

Also, can you please measure up the bore diameter before you install ?

Well I measured the runners and they are 44mm. These should be almost identical.

44mm is stock diameter....so were these ported out or just polished to remove surface imperfections???
I have mine ported to 45.xx mm and then polished....

Idk. There seems to be a discrepancy as to the stock size lol. Ken has a pic where he measured stock at 41.81mm with the micrometer thing. I have to think that's correct because the TL manifold measured ~42mm. I can't see the runners being any larger than the stock manifold(s), but I could be wrong. When my buddy and I do the install I will be sure to measure mine. I'm interested to see how my ported manifold matches up to my stock runners. If the ports on my manifold are larger than the runners, I'd assume I'd be losing some power. But I'm pretty sure I gained power from the manifold.

Hmmm...Idk. Maybe the TL has slightly larger runners than the Accord? I'm not really sure.

Did you all not see the pic of the radically deformed P2R IM gasket? Why measure or enlarge the P2R gasket.... it ain't gonna stay that size and shape after you torque it into place.

^^^ wow that's pretty bad.
I installed Keith's beautiful IM spacer with a P2R gasket and while everything is in good working order, it'll have to be replaced if I ever go back in there.

Thanks Inaccurate. I did see the pics but out of all the people who have it, that's the only case I've seen where it looks that way. InfamousLink posted pics of his in perfect condition and one of my buddies over on Vsixp has it still intact. I may look into Keith's though if it's around the same price?

I'd really like to do this but don't have the luxury of down time. I've looked on ebay and haven't found anything useful. I'm hoping to get a tb, im and maybe a set of runners used that Ivan have bored and pnp'd. Anyone have a suggestion of where to get these parts reasonably priced so I can avoid down time? Also, I've only seen one person on this topic who didn't have exhaust work done. I have a jpipe and eliminated my resonator but have no plans to do a cat back system. I might go the hfc route but that's still tbd. Am I going about this in the wrong order? Should I do the hfc before any of this? I also am running tbd stock intake minus the resonator if that matters.

I also had the P2R spacers for my IM. It deformed within 2 weeks of install. That was causing the leaking sound I experienced from my engine. Looking back I would just use the metal OEM gaskets and get yourself a proper METAL IM spacer...

That's my gasket. I was wondering why my car had a vacuum leak for 2 weeks. I put in new metal gasket. I removed the I'm and runners like 3-4 times within a 2 month period... Hella bs.
Finally good it out and realized it was done. Hence the copper thingy. But the deformity is caused by it melting.
Also notice that I spray rtv copper on all the gasket

Installed ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Everything was running fine until last night. I got a CEL (haven't checked it but I think I know what it is) and an erratic idle...all over the place. This morning I started the car and the CEL was gone but the idle was still bouncy. Sigh.....
I don't think the ECU has adjusted fully yet, but I definitely feel a difference. Seems to be smoother throughout the powerband and rev faster. Although smoother, the power is more violent than before. Love it so far. I haven't done the idle relearn procedure yet, maybe that has something to do with it?

^^^ do the relearn process ![Annoyed](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/annoyed.gif)
how could you skip that![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
I will have to assume you did the install with the battery connected, and hence when you removed the electrical connectors of the IAT or the MAF sensor the ECU went ballistic and shot a CEL....
this is what i would do:
hard reset the ECU (disconnect the battery....keep radio/navi codes handy)
start the car and dont touch the gas pedal or do not turn on the AC for 3-5 minutes....let it just idle....
take it for a spin....i bet you will see a "better" difference and the idle problem will be gone

Thanks Anil. When we did the install we actually disconnected the negative terminal. So the ECU was reset and everything upon first startup.
One thing I was thinking is that the 'vacuum' connection on the AEM V1 is in a weird spot. The vacuum line doesn't reach the bung on the intake so it's currently disconnected until I get a longer hose. However, the IAT sensor was relocated in the intake so that's fine. The car was running fine since the completed install on Saturday around 2PM until Sunday around 730PM. I will definitely try the idle relearn procedure though.

there is no vac line on the intake...that is the PCV line which I have disconnected....
there is a vac port on the TB....the connector on the 05 TL did not fit the MAF on the TB, so i replaced that MAF plug with the one on my TB....worked perfectly....
but then just coz i wanted to have everything 2012 (LOL) I ended up trimming the 05 TL connector and installing the 2012 MAF port back in there....

Yea the MAP sensor didn't fit, but like you told me, I took the stock one and installed it. I think that may be the problem? Maybe the stock MAP sensor doesn't know what to do with all that air? Not sure if MAP sensor's are "throttle body dependent," but that's the only thing I can think of?

^^^ I dont think they are as even with my 05 MAF sensor, i did not have an idle problem....
however, i suggest using the 2012 MAF port....just dremel the connector and you should be good to go....let me know if you want me to post some pix

I am definitely dynoing after on the same dyno. I'm busy the next couple weekends, so I probably won't be able to until mid or end of August. But rest assured I will.
The idle problem seemed to have lessened on the way to work today, but I'm not getting too ahead of myself just yet. I will see how it drives on the way home.

Don't mean to hijack this thread.
I'm getting my manifold and runners pnp on my 07 type s
Is there a certain size recommend I port too? Or any special notes I should tell the machinist? Any other recommendations?

Where did you buy the p2r gasket from because there are knockoffs being sold as p2r. Maybe that is why yours melted. P2r stands behind his and claims they held up even on their racing cars.

I doubt it. All I know is that my outlaw engineering one is so much better then this. Also didn't someone say they put the p2r in the oven and it started to deform also?
