PNP Intake manifold and Runners Question

^ who told you that. I am running 09 MDX camshaft same profile as TL-S. Only different is they are pressed on instead of ground so they are much lighter.
I think 10-11+ is when they swap to the dual vtec
09 mdx camshaft were like 350 for both camshaft.

I am 20whp over anyone else that has full bolt on. But then again I have PnP heads.
Everyone that sent in a edyno for me to graph has been around 250-255whp and I am 272-274whp.
So realistically I want to say you would see maybe 10whp increase with a tune. I seen how Paul PnP his for the last few batch and they were subpar.

Where are you finding these prices? Lmao

They jacked up the price ~80 bucks more now. It was 350 a few months ago.

here my build thread if you haven't seen it yet. I bought a lot of different parts and when with a lot of different setup before I actually start putting stuff together on my car. Went through a lot of small BS here and there.

so my PNP'd Mani and runners showed up today, need to put them through a good cleaning to make sure I get everything out. I heard breakfluid?
for those that have done them, should I do stock gasket ported to match or IN Spacer Ported to Match? I have heard that doing IM Spacer with the PNP'd parts causes an idle problem?
Thanks!

so when you say someones work is sub par, what makes their work sub par?
I want to do TLS cams but so expensive!
I dyno'd my car with just pulley and intake and it put down 207WHP and 189WTQ so if you have all those upgrades and are only throwing the numbers you say there is a problem for sure! but then agian you say your 5at? what year that you are running flashpro

so for those that know Porting and Polishing. On the Intake Manifold you polish the inlet where the TB attached the IM. Polish into the IM, but looking at it you cant polish the IM all the way through, just at the inlet where the TB connects at at each outlet where the runners connect. however in between the two spaces does not get polished?
am I wrong? and if I am not wrong it allows better flow at the TB, then causes rougher flow throughout and smooths again before going into the runners? Is this right?

I don't know much about welding, but I think those that I'd seen before were probably some aluminum alloy and not the magnesium ones that are on the 3.5L and up, I think the 3.2L mani is an aluminum alloy though not sure.
The magnesium ones are already really smooth so there's really not much need at all other than to gasket match which only goes about an inch or so into the part for the manifolds.
For cleaning the best stuff I've used is berryman's B12 chem-tool carb cleaner, it literally melts the deposits away. If you spray it on you'll see them melt and just run off the part. I've also used other stuff that does practically nothing.

alright, got the Intake Manifold and Runners in last night, with some Hallowed out Pre cats.
One thing I monitor is my AFR's cause with my setup there is danger to detonation. I have noticed that I am now running around 14.1 - 13.9 on the AFR's when normal is 14.7 which I use to run. Is this because any extra fuel or the content of the exhaust gasses are not being passed through a Cat?
anyone else monitoring this notice they are running rich after such mods?
