Please help looking for a clutch conversion

Hi,
my clutch is going out on my 07 acura tl type s.
was going to replace it but I have the dual mass flywheel and I can only find it for about 800. bucks.

does anyone know of a conversion kit so i can do away with the dual mass flywheel?
or possible cheap place to get one?

Do you need to change out the DM flywheel? The disk and PP are pretty cheap from eBay, Luk makes the clutch /PP setup I believe. Going to a conventional clutch setup will be expensive and include a light weight Flywheel which you might or might not want.

Well I was looking into a cheaper way to go. just seems like 800 is over kill for a flywheel. If I can get a standered set up that might be cheaper and possible last longer then I would just go that way.

^the conventional set up is more expensive.

you can score the OEM flywheel at acuraoemparts.com for waaaay cheaper than 800 dollars.

Why are you replacing the flywheel? If all you want is a new clutch, then just do that, should only be around 300 in parts + labor. Chances are the flywheel is still good, they usually outlast a clutch. How many miles?

If you have a TL-S and the OE DMF is good I would just upgrade to a CM kit.
