This is what happens when you run too rich you get pre-detonation which causes chipping and pitting in the pistons and when you run to lean you heat the metal and cause breaking in the pistons.

Rich, is below 14.7 , right? lean is over 14.7 ??

My last two dynos (before and after pre-cat deletes)

273whp, hits about 12 A/F at 4500RPM...and drops below 12 at 5000... lowest it hits 11.5 at peak power

293whp, hits about 13 A/F at 4500RPM...and drops to about 12.5 in the peak range

So, If i am running, Rich.. then i have too much fuel in the engine? somebody correct me here if i'm wrong

I see no problems with these a/f ratio's... but then this is just with the wire in the butt... you need a real a/f gauge

Maybe ill drill and tap a couple of inches before the 3rd cat delete and see what the a/f is at wot. I used this http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lm2.php and i have it laying around at home. Maybe i can put it to use.

I believe 14.7 to one is stoich so technically 12.5 is pretty rich. I always thought the major drawback of running rich is washing down of the cylinder walls.

YES. You're just running a tad rich but that's perfectly fine under WOT and "12.5 IS FUCKING PERFECT" lol

there is no point Allon, in order to upgrade the injectors you need the tune, which is probably a waste since your not leaning out and wouldnt feel 10 whp.
