Most will say J-Pipe because it's the bang bang for the buck =)

^that depends on you.

they are both the latest and greatest jpipes available.
both get rid of the 3rd cat.
both are made by great companies.

although, one company is running a special

Aside from the J-pipe which I will be purchasing what is the best exhaust system for our cars? I saw tsudo for $400 on ebay but am not sure about quality. I was considering Comtech. Please leave any helpful feedback. Thanks all.

I have an 04 6MT and the RV6 V3 gave the stock exhaust a great sound, also much better power from 60-90 mph

best is subjective. there are multiple threads for all the available cat backs for the TL. you have to decide what tone or amount of noise you want to hear from it. all will yield around the same gains.

(from quietest)
tanabe...comptech...

(middle ground for exhaust tone-in no particular order)
XLR8 (base and quad), ATLP (base and quad), megan, tsudo, rv6 (true duel)

(loudest, with biggest exhaust openings, ie melon shooters)
greddy

plenty of you tube videos

comes down to what YOU want the exhaust to look like and sound like and perform.
you really had to hijack this guy's thread?

OP-j-pipe for HP/torque (power) as others have said--> best bang for buck, for handling-->suspension or RSB

i know that was not your intention...so don't sweat it. just keep in mind the search button is your friend and many of your questions have been answered. only you can decide what you want on your car, sound, looks or otherwise. have fun...your wallet will be sucked dry hanging out here.

FYI: You can get the radiator directly from Denso for a lot less than the same radiator from Acura. Denso part number is 221-3231. They sell them for $145 at sparkplugs.com and I think you can find a coupon code for them too.

I bought a used radiator from a junkyard for $120.
I'm sure you can still bargain further. I just wanted a radiator!
lol

but the link, I gave was given to me from 94eg!
145 aint bad for a brand new radiator.

I will give u my, may end up to about a dimes worth.....honestly if u want torque, especially low end. THEN AEM CAI.... It will give u some kick 2 ur acceleration....once u add the j_pipe with out an exhaust u will bottleneck like hell losing bottom end torque...trust me.. I have full set up and feels like less bottom end then stock but awesome topend.... Cai will give u that low end torque

^i dont think there is a problem with bottlenecking like you described.
you free up any one of the 3 exhaust components(cats-->jpipe-->catback) and you gain.

I did not dyno stock, but I did dyno a stock(buddies car) vs jpipe and pcd (my car)
and the chart shows; I have way more torque than he does.

I speak from experience...I bought and installed everything part by part..so I felt every mod as I went..not disputing gains but going from bigger pipe into smaller pipe, bottlenecking is guarnteed... had better low end pep stock and with CAI...

^you mad bro?

bottle necking isnt as serious as you make it out to seem.

when I just had my jpipe, I pulled on my buddy with a stock TL.

6MT with just jpipe vs stock 6MT.

so to clarify, I had stock cats-->rv6 v3 jpipe-->stock cat back.
by your reasoning, I wouldnt have pulled on my buddy.
but i did.
bottle necking is not as serious as you make it out to be.

you're going off of feelings and the butt dyno.
you think you lost low end. but you didnt.

Key:
Justin - 6MT with PCD's and jpipe.
Emmanuel - stock 6MT

if bottle necking were true....I wouldnt have made 18 more pounds of torque than he does.
at 2.7k RPM, I'm making 200 pounds while he's at 160 something.

I'm not mad,I started with a CAI then to j_PIPE,THEN RACE PIPE,my top end got stronger....gains gains and more gains..but full potential wasn't there until catback was installed. All iam saying i s it pulled harder down low with cai only[this is on a base 04 tl] that my 25 cent worth, lol

if your living paycheck to paycheck dont get shiat because it worth nothing to go a bit faster but if your a heavy foot kindof player you might want to go with XLR8 v2 jpipe. (idont like rv6). and get a kn drop in filter for factory purposes and better sound plus MPG. i bet anything xlr8 will show up

Space, seriously what's up with u...putting a dyno with pcd mod and j_pipe is no defense against bottlenecking...I guess what I was saying is over your head.. telling someone to get a j_pipe and then trying to prove better lowend torque by adding pcd mod to get better numbers is funny to me...if anyone else understood me can I get an amen....tnx
