actually, it looks ALOT like stock.. these tips are just a little thicker, and they run straight into the muffler.. the acura tips are thin little black pipes, with like 3" tips...
it is DEFINITELY a quality made product !! laser etching on tips, looks bad ass.. ill post better pics soon

Sounds nice, I bet it's a lot louder in person if it shakes your cup holders. That would be too loud for me, but hopefully the free flowing design gets you near 260whp on your 5at.
Can we get a sound clip of a drive by, because the engine under load should make the sound much deeper and fuller than in neutral.

AEM Cold Air
EShift Pro-Cats
UR Pulley (Sc)
Outlaw TB spacers
I put in TL-S cams towards the end, but didnt get to re-dyno it...

With your exhaust, I say around 250 WHP....I had mine dyno'd about two weeks ago and laid down 241. Thats with CAI, Pulley, TB spacer, and thermo spacers with 3rd cat and two resonators cutt off on an 07 3.5 5at...im sure the exhaust will bump it up around 9hp...

seems about right... plus you are in warmer temps maybe?? i dunno arkansas weather... its BRICK here 15 degrees tonight, so im sure ill get decent numbers this weekend
the e-shift cats are a MUST have, i had them on my last car, and they definitely added like 16-17 whp... buttt. since these cats are already a little higher flow then 3.2L, im guessing like a 10 hp gain... + another $1000... tough call
would be nice to a N/A 5AT pushing over 260whp

That is what i like about my comptech hit the pedal and at idle it has a nice mean little groan, but it doesn;t retain it after the rpm's go down like this new type-s exhaust does...
I just don;t get spending over $1000 for the same look, and i different sound when you can delete mid muffler and get close to the same... And this is coming from a guy who has spent $1000's on mod;s/////
Below is my comptech.... still prefer it by far

I think that the tips are just Stromung's fundamental look...all stromung exhausts have these tips (well i think most). IMO it looks very VIP and luxurious. Comptech is very nice as well, but the round tips do not flow with the base aspec.
I do not see any other design for teh TL-s that would make it significantly different from stock. Maybe a quad 4" tip but that's too much. single tips on the TL-s bumper would also look funky imho due to it's wide exhaust opening.
The ATLP tip is very diff from stock type S from how i see it, its more round and sticks out. Type S is flat ellipse that curves along the bumper. The ATLP looks a lot more noticeable as an aftermarket exhaust.
Everyone has diff opinions, I just love quads....it's why i fell in love with the TL

Damn. I was afraid of this. No resonator and no mid muffler is always gonna be loud... I was hoping the large size of the mufflers would help.
Based on your feedback, I really need to hear one of these from inside the car while cruising at speed.
If this thing is loud enough to shake your soda can, how do you expect to use your HFL over the drone?

yea, its pretty bad on the inside of the cabin, but ive used the HFL all day long, no problems. just gotta keep the windows closed lol...
im thrilled with this exhaust, it definitely makes the TL-s a mean, bad-ass sounding car.. the power gains are there, slight, but noticeable.
the TL-s is notorious for its "drone" , the exhaust doesnt eliminate it, it actually amplifies it.. and it makes my 5AT sound like its a 6MT because of the drone and gurggling on shifts.
overall, two thumbs up... if i had to choose between the comptech and ATLP, i would stay ATLP.. although, i havent seen the comptech for the TL-S yet...
just need some ear plugs

Geez it's really that loud on the TL-S? It's pretty good as far as sound on the 3.2, and it was tolerable, definitely noticeable on the TL-S when we prototyped it. But not deafening.
The packing material, Silent Sport, is supposed to absorb more sound as it breaks in. Give it some time and see how it does.

I have the 07 TL-S and have no drone in my stock exhaust and it certainly does not rattle coins and cans. The stock exhaust is quite and I'm looking for something that sounds like it means business.
