Is this post for real? I would say a 75 shot would beat your friend if you can drive. Hopefully torque steer will not cause a reck when you hit the nos.

 

nitro isn't too bad actually, it just seems scary. If you aren't a moron with it then you should be fine,

If you do it, go with NOS or ZX. Don't get cheap. Get the correct kit for our DBW. Get every safety such as WOT sensor, window switch, etc.

Run good gas, just like FI, nitrous needs more octane or timing retard. 75hp is enough to have to run a splash of 100 unleaded with 11:1 compression.

 

Just be careful, it gets addicting, and that's when motors start to blow, when you abuse it.

 

Will this be a dry or wet kit? Do not buy the dry kit for our cars.

Also, you shouldn't be ashamed you lost especially in a straight line. All generations of the Maxima are advertise for performance, luxury, and longevity similar to our cars, but they don't have any of it. They are on the (almost) same level as us on performance with poor luxury and longevity. 3G TL wins this 1v1 every time, but with some mods (Full exhaust changed) than the TL would win in every category.

shit, somebody had a really reliable 75 shot Zex kit. it's a tuff thread to find but very informative. after a couple of the elder's pinged him for info it was deemed decent and you probably wouldn't want to go any higher than 75.

 

first i am going to try a 50 shot, then im gonna use the 75

 

thewanderer had the zex kit on his type s. I would do a meth kit with that. For that 1000 kit with installation I would just get a full exhaust and a pulley with an intake. Used exhaust dont matter.

 

Because it was the Zex wet kit, not the dry version.

He has some videos on youtube, I think he's the one with the 12 second TL. 13's with bolt ons and 12 second with a 75 shot.
