Next mod?!?!?

whats up guys, i just installed my xlr8 quad catback and v2 j pipe and man does this thing sound like an exotic car i love it

just ordered my lightweight pulley (its only one pulley right?) from xlr8, wil get that installed tomorrow hopefully

soo what else is their to do performance wise for my car its 08 tl type s?

i have xlr8 quad catback, aem v2 intake, and xlr8 v2 j pipe....i dont wanna touch the cats cause then i will not pass inspection

im probably gonna get flashpro down the road so my car is tuned to its max but for now i just did a ecu reset and the car runs so smooth

any input would be appreciated thank you!

it just depends on your goals and budget and how far you want to take your car.

right now; you probably didnt even make your car that much quicker. especially if its an automatic.....

you just spent close to $2k and didnt even make your car that much quicker.

reassess your goals, your budget and how far you really want to take the car as performance wise goes.

p.s. another $2k in bolt on's wont add on exceptional power either.

there are other fun ways to mod the car.
I enjoyed putting on a larger rear sway bar. shits more fun than spending $2k for little engine grunt.

well, what do you want out of the car?

you cant just throw random parts on the car because its the next thing to do...........

what are your goals for the car?
do you even know what the pulley does?

is there something that the car is lacking that you want to add?

suspension mods are more fun than go fast parts because they cost less and you can enjoy them.
go fast mods; you really cant enjoy because it doesnt really go fast...

honestly without doing the Pre cats you have opened up the flow by doing J pipe and catback but are still restricted at the motor from the pre cats.

Throttle body spacer with Thermo gaskets
ZDX Throttle body
PNP Intake Manifold and Runners
PCD's
Flashpro

Then from there you are looking at Supercharger, Turbo, or Nitrous.

are you more interested in speed mods or appearence mods? do you have an A Spec kit? they look so sick on the Type S

Unless you pull the cats or at a min get HFCs you won't free up that much power.

Coilovers arent that difficult. Get some of your car buddies, booze, and tackle it together.

the go fast goodies move the power band up!
so that means if you dont drive in the UPPER RPM range; you probably wont see the benefit of the go fast mods.

however; a dropped vehicle, you will be able to appreciate DAILY!

its so fun to see it visually, to feel it on the road, and to hear people comment about how tastefully you dropped it!

Definitely look into our XLR8 ISC N1 coilovers. They are very streetable and offer 32 step damper adjustment, aluminum upper mounts, and independent ride height adjustment.

XLR8 ISC Coilovers - Excelerate - HOA - Japanese Performance Specialist

Another great option would be the TEIN Street Advance. They are a step up from the Street Basis in that they offer separate Height and damping adjustment as well. This allows you to really dial in your ride comfort.

Give us a call or PM if we can help you further.
