New to the Forum!! asking for recommendation!

Hello ALL!!!

I'm a pride TL owner from So. Cal.
now that i'm done paying off my 05 TL 5AM, currently at 50k.
I would like to start little mod here and there..
I want to start with breaks and suspension since at 50k it's time for new breaks and suspension. (I never changed it yet..)
I have about $1,500 to spend..

what should i do??
also is there a 50k service for Acura TL?

Thank you pros!

well both brakes and suspension will last you around 70K miles (people please correct me if am wrong)....again this depends on the way you drive, coz i have heard people replacing brakes at 15-20K

well this is what i would do

1> throw an air intake in there along with a throttle body spacer
2> take it to the dealer and get a 50K miles servicing. In the checklist they show if your brakes are fine or not.

If it says 20% or less remaining then
change brakes (brembo's or rotora's or powerslot (i have powerslot and am very
satisfied. I have hawk HPS pads with them. I paid $500 for the setup))
switch suspension (teins....basic or ss, I have teins basic and luv them)

If it says your brakes are fine then
either get nice rims setup (around 1500-2000)
or
get an exhaust setup (about 1500 - 2000)
or
or do an audio upgrade (again around 1500 - 2000)

PICK and CHOSE my friend .....all the best.....

TEIN SS + MrHeelToe build a brake setup.

Should be around $1500 - $1700 depending on whether you're DIY or having a shop do it.

As far as buying mods go, check out the private sales section because you can find good parts at a cheap price from members here. Good luck!!

LET THE ADDICTION BEGIN!!
