I am running 2 skunk2 megapowers on my 07 nbp type s, custom fabbed using 2 universals which I got a hook up on direct from them

What I think you should get
1) The quadback just created by acuratlparts.com/exhaust
2) Skunk2 Megapower Mufflers (I can show you where to get a pair for under $300)
3) HKS Hi Power
or lastly
4) Custom fab a complete catback using 2 magnaflows keeping the stock tips

That might solve a few questions

and it depends on what you're going for sound/performance/looks? More detail!

Damn that sound really great. 2 questions if you don't mind. How much is the whole setup and where in NY did you get it done? I'm from NJ but I can definitely drive to NY to get it done like that.

Thanks.

ib18c1 - what kind of rims are those? They're hot. Also where did you get the roof spoiler?

I'm thinking about upgrading my exhaust on a 2008 TL-S. Looking for pure performance. What gives the highest impact in that regard?

Also, do the stage upgrades boost hp, or is that merely for sound? It seems like most people think stage 3 is the upgrade to do from what I've read here.

ATLP Exhuast is the way to go. I just got mine installed and im in love with my car again. It fits the exhaust opening really well and sounds amazing. It also adds a significan amount of power i think it was somewhere around 10hp/10tq
IMO those huge HKS mufflers look weird on the TL-S bumper.

If you have a 04-08 base TL wait just a few more weeks. We have a catback exhaust coming out shortly. The TL-S will be next on the list.

pm ib18.. ask him what parts he used... like muffler part # and tips part # then I can put you in contact with the best prices... then we go to the shop I always go to, pretty sure a quad setup would be $100-$150
