It is available. It has been working flawlessly on more than one 6mt car. I got an update yesterday the speed cut on the autos has been removed. It was cut at 135, and a run was done yesterday without cutting out all the way to 155.

Not sure how far you went Brandon, maybe people would be interested in what you were cooking up and take the F/IC's off our hands when we get going on the MS ECU.
I still have a few prototypes laying around here. Everything was fully functional as far as the O2 skewing goes. No CEL's and the accuracy was dead-nuts. The next step was to have some PCB's made, but by the time I had gotten around to it I got wind of Rodney's setup.

If anyone needs some help getting their F/IC set up to make use of the O2 skew functionality, just ping me and I can get you guided in the right direction.

Rodney is such a small operation that he's had to limit the ECU to installs he is doing. It's been quite a while since I've made my full payment but I am waiting patiently and I am totally ok with him working on rides where he is doing the installs so there is some cashflow for him to work on.

I'm not sure what their backlog looks like or where I am in that list, but I'm not going to rush him. I want it to be the best it can be.

I wish I lived closer to him so I could help with some of the assembly, but I am about as far north/south as you can get.

Can't wait to buy the turbo and ECU.

500WHP daily driver is all I want.

Wonder how a DCT transmission would feel for our cars.

TLdream, where are you at now with mods; base or type-s??

Keep me posted. I'm gonna do some induction porting next and then if I see people making decent gains with this, I'm all over it.

all that plus some shaved PnP heads and PnP IM and reground cams and you should see big N/A numbers with the available tuning options coming out

J35a8 type s motor, Currently have v1 pcd, stock j pipe, 3 in exhaust, made 274 on a 3.2 ecu. I have a new intake, and am building a new 2.5 td exhuast, and switching fuels to see over 300.

^^^ Not only that, but have you ever checked prices on an AEM EMS or a Motec unit? Trust me, it's very reasonably priced especially given the fact that it comes with base maps. That's worth several hundred dollars in tuning time just to get the car to run.

It's the same reaction here when Rodney was feeling out the turbo crowd.

Went from +60 people to 3 of us after the price was established.

There is a high misconception of what it costs to build real power on this platform.

Here's hoping there's a shipment on it's way to me.

Rodney's never ending quest to give us as much as he can delayed things a bit. I would have no problem waiting longer but he needs to sell these things to get some income so he's sending mine out with a less than he wanted.

I'm fine with that. Gives me something to shoot for down the road.

I've got some other things going with my ride so I'll be giving updates in the thread I started last year that hasn't been updated in months.

I used up my TL budget this year so I'll do this when I save enough. Still going to be around 400whp. He was also moving the boost into a range where I won't be spinning my tires off the rims.

Excellent! Be sure to snap some pics of the unit and the harness once it comes in. I've seen some pictures of MSIII's before and they looked a little on the bulky side. I'm kind of sweating finding a good place to mount mine.

People, it's not the same thing as a $5500-$6500 turbo setup. To me that's a decent deal with everything tried true and tested. And this ECU makes sense for those boosted

That reaction was to those who would buy this just to squeeze a little out of a J NA setup. It's not the same as throwing a Hondata in the car. Make the price what you will I won't complain, I was only surprised.

And yes, I do understand what it takes and all the hard work. And I appreciate it. Don't jump to conclusions.

From his video, it's larger than the F/IC. I have mine squeezed behind the glove compartment in between the steel bracket and the cabin filter access. Anything larger isn't going to fit. So I know what you mean. The harness he showed was pretty long so maybe it can go further back into the passenger compartment.

I'll let you know asap.

How can you not compare it to Hondata? Its very similar to K pro's cost, and it has more flexability and tunability. It has better percent gains than hondata also.

When you say squeeze a little out of a J is 30 hp a little?

I was also told that they are waiting for a knock box to arrive which is a $100-120 option. At that point, the ECU should be released.

Rodney is predicting being able to surpass 300whp with the precat deletes on a bolt-on Type-S. He's going to be out of town next week to do another install in NY so the tests may not happen until he returns.

Also on the horizon (totally off topic) are gearsets developed by the same people who developed the twin disc clutch.
figure id put this video from page 3 up again ,kn we have a delivery date of friday your patience has been second to none along with everyone who believed in the ecu and made purchases allowing me to finish the ecu project, we are waiting to retune redline rav typeS which made 296whp with all bolt on with stock ecu ,we did install a clutch kit recently so we should be able to get some numbers with ecu soon , i havent been posting for a while but we are still here working to perfect a car that has tons of potential .....

In the video, I see a pre-tune run of 264 whp and a post-tune run of 276 whp, then 281 and 284 after the EGR delete. I don't see 30 hp gains anywhere, unless you're talking about a different car/dyno.

I wish they'd done three pre-tune runs, then three post-tune runs for a clearer picture.

Hmmmm thats interesting. I was told that with some slight modifications to the rdx injectors, they can be adjusted to spray up to 800cc's. Thats why Im still using the rdx injectors with my new build.....

That's true Bert. I just didn't want to wait out the downtime of getting them modified.

He didn't say and I saw there are places that can do it. But Matt says it's not a good idea to modify injectors especially at the levels you all are producing. Not worth the money saved to possibly have one fail and the results to the engine.

It's Here!

Fed-Ex came today. Was expecting it next week so it was a nice surprise.

Here are some quick pics of it, nothing spectacular. bmeyer, it measures 7x4 1/8 X 2 5/8 inches.

Thanks, KN! I'll have to dig up some cardboard around here and mock up the dimensions so that I can begin test fitting. Out of curiosity, did you opt for the knock box? I know at one time it was mentioned that it would be an optional extra, but I never heard if they were able to build the functionality into the unit instead of having an extra module.

Glad to help!

I did get the knock option. I thought I was going to have to wire up the sensor but they modified the harness so it grabs the signal from the ECU wiring. It's been so long since I paid but I think it was a $150.00 option.

Keep us updated on placement, I'm still waiting on mine to ship. I'm hoping the tune it comes with will be good for a little while before I get it tuned. My car is running great but it will be nice to have full control over the ECU and to tune for knock. My fuel trims are crazy.

It's going in the upper footwell. I am going to get some aluminum and bend it up for some extra protection.
