hey everyone i need your opinions, i have a friend who is selling his greddy exhaust for 500!! thats a steal if u ask me, but the wife won't let me spend anymore money on the car for another like 2 or 3 mos. unless i hustle it myself, (can't take it out of the business acct or joint acct, and no i have no money on my own acct cuz i just paid for a paint job) so should i sell my stereo system or should i just wait but i risk him selling it to someone else? whats more important for u guys a system or performance mods? i want performance but a nice stereo setup is nice too

All depends on what your selling. If its just some stuff, get rid of it. If you wont be able to recapture a decent amount of the audio's value, just keep it. Besides, you can always get BRAND-NEW exhaust when your in a better position. Anyways, you'd hate to miss or even re-buy your stereo stuff. This is coming from a guy with 2 aw1208t's running 2000rms. Then again, I have exhaust too.

SOLD the exhaust! i always seem to kick myself in the ass for holding off, but i decided to just ditch the system all together, i'm actually gonna take it out today, my mids and highs are pretty descent so i can live with that! now i'm just gonna save up for some for myself, i've never really priced for them til now and ya 500 was a good deal... btw, accuratein, u still have your brake setup?

 

sound systems are heavy. losing the system will help performance a bit since you are looking into improving performance.

Just upgrade the stock TL sub, that's good enough at least for me. Personally I'd rather have the stock sound quality than lug a large sound system in the back.

 

I agree. This system is incredible, although I'd like an enclosed sub. Seems the guys who don't appreciate this system and say it's not loud enough are just into sheer volume.
