Need some help on where to buy some items.

I would like to buy the XLR8 Jpipe, P2R Spacer, and RV6 Test pipe (resonated) for my 05 TL AT. Could someone please supply me with links to the best website(s) to purchase these from?

I already have an ATLP Base exhaust, so I wanted to buy these to complete my set-up. I was having a hard time choosing which websites to buy these items from, and I know my fellow Acuraziners know the best places!

Appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!

I'd like to get these items asap if I could. :P

Could you supply me with the links to the items instead of the website itself. I get easily confused on which item I need exactly, because of the vast selection. Thanks for the links so far!

PS: Also your second link you supplied me with doesn't work.

Go with the XLR8 J-pipe as it is the best J-pipe money can buy.

Yeah but the ATLP is pretty much the same thing. Plus I am already VERY satisfied with my exhaust they made. They go for the same price...

I beg to differ. The XLR8 is the better J-pipe because of exhaust scavenging. 1/2 WHP is a big difference considering the price of both of them are nearly the same. Though if you're satisfied and want to give ATLP more business because of their excellent exhaust suit yourself!

I think I have changed my mind. What does everyone think of this setup?

ATLP Jpipe V2(IF available)>RV6 Test Pipe [Resognated]>ATLP Base exhaust.

Then I'll install the P2R Spacer onto the block between my AEM Cold Air Intake (V1).

I am going to assume when installing these, it shouldnt be that hard besides dealing with rusty bolts etc, which I will put some special stuff on to loosen them up the night before.

I have a pit in my garage so I can easily go under the car.

So i'll buy the ATLP Jpipe and the RV6 Resognated as well as the P2R spacer soon.

sounds like money to me

but if i were you, i would opt for the rv6 V2 PCD's, ATLP V2 jpipe, stock 3rd cat to keep the smell down. spending money on a HFC wont give you much more (1-2 whp tops) and ATLP base exhaust.

IMO, the PCD's are the best bang for the buck. dont overlook them (unless you already have them )

Haha not to sound too noobish but could you explain what the RV6 V2 PCD's are? And what does HFC stand for again?
Link me if you could, I'll take a look at it.

I am not TOO worried about the smell around my area since I sort of live in the boondocks... :P
Plus around here they dont even start up your car when you get it inspected. LOL it's to that extent. Haha.

Cops around here are extremely leinient as well.

Seeing another TL, or an NSX for that matter is exciting because you dont see other Acuras much. :P Nothing but RSX base around here oh and can't forget civics.

In this area VW is the majority.

RV6 is the company. Version 2 PreCatDeletes.
They remove our two primary cats.
HFC=High flow cat.

Your inspection sounds cool, but just keep in mind the PCD will not pass the smog test.

That's the thing though. Around here you can get away without them even checkin smog tests. lol

Oh Pre cat deletes, I don't have any plans at the moment to install those. Haha I was wondering why PCD sounded familiar..
I just didn't know the abbreviated words like HFC. lol

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Appreciate it!

One last question. Will this setup throw a check engine light?

ATLP Jpipe V2>RV6 Test Pipe [Resognated]>ATLP Base exhaust.

Hahahaha. Amen. No I'll admit it, I very much am. But hey its cool, new stuff to learn. So then I'll always know it for the future.

I'll post picture up maybe later on of the setup from under the car. I should get it by next week!

ONE last question, Haha. The P2R Spacer allows more airflow to the block correct from the intake? It allows pretty much to suck in more air?

Haha I got the MOD bug pretty bad this year. :P I never thought i'd go beyond catback honestly. But something about the ATLP brand that gets me every time.

I did go with the ATLP Jpipe. I just want a resonated pipe, thats why I am going with the RV6 Test pipe. Can't wait!

Nice mang,

There is no cure for the MOD bug. You are now forever infected. It's like crack... you did it once... "oh i'm just going to do the catback exhaust, that's all."

Not sure but P2R Spacer just sounds like a waste of money to me. Like extra bling bling for your engine bay. Majority of people say it adds no performance gains. And i've read somewhere... that it should add 5hp. I doubt it tho. Someone please correct my arrogance if needed.

I think Josh from XLR8 was saying that the mod gives a 5whp gain. Not 100% sure, but hes our vendor, and we'll trust him

ONE last question in this dying post. Haha.

http://store.excelerateperformance.c...s/g-55685.aspx

Does this come with two gaskets for the P2R Spacer? Or just one?

I am assuming two because of the wording "gasket(s)". But I'm just making sure. I don't want to do all this work without all the supplies.

Oh and if someone could. What's with this MDX spacer mod i've been hearing about? What's the difference between the usual P2R mod and the MDX version. Is there additional work, or is it a direct replacement.

Does anyone know? I'd like to have all the parts around the same time. The reason i'd get it separate from the AcuraZine package is because it doesn't make it clear if I can choose the blue spacer. I'd much prefer the blue, but it's making it seem like only silver when you buy it in the package. Can someone clarify all this?

It was clarified by Josh that I can choose a different color later in the checkout. Thanks for all that helped me in this thread. I've ordered all the parts.

Though I am interested. How much should I essentially be putting down above stock? I have the following:

2005 TL 5AT,
AEM CAI>P2R Spacer>ATLP Jpipe>RV6 Test Pipe>ATLP Base Exhaust.
