Need help with RV6 exhaust system...

So i've decided to install an RV6 exhaust system into my 2006 acura TL since it seems to have the perfect sound that i'm looking for. Problem is i'm a big noob when it comes to modding cars and I have no idea where to get the exhaust system and where I should go to have it installed. I live in Houston TX so if anyone knows of a car shop that can install this exhaust then that would be awesome. Also, could I just go to a car shop and have them order the exhaust or would I have to order it myself and bring it with me to the shop? Last question, could someone give me a list of all the parts I would need to install the entire exhaust? I heard about people putting j pipes and some other things but I don't exactly know what those are so I would greatly appreciate some help. I know I sound like a complete noob but if someone could help me out here it would be awesome. Thanks.

this is easy.

you have to first buy the exhaust.
which, we're all waiting for the 2nd batch to be released. then and only then can we sign up for the 3rd batch. but he said only a limited number of exhaust are being built at a time.

so you have to be first to sign up.
Good luck!!

p.s. I'm in houston and can install the exhaust if and when you get it!

nope! i think the 2nd group buy just finished so you have to wait for batch 3. like what justin said..you have to sign up and order from richie. then he makes them, then you go to a shop to have it installed or justin can install it for you. its a waiting game for the true duals.

Oh okay, I guess it's worth the wait. If there are any other exhausts you recommend i'd appreciate it. Also, is the J pipe and HFPC necessary or is it just an upgrade because I don't know if I want to spend almost $1000 on it if I don't need it.. And does anyone know how long it takes to make each batch? Thanks

okay, there are 3 vendors that makes an exhaust for our vehicle:
rv6-true duals
heeltoeauto- atlp
and excelerate
these 3 vendors also makes j-pipes they are the best bang for your dollar power wise.
the hfpc and precat deletes also known as (pcd) are only sold through rv-6 you would gain power with either of the two. more with pcd but rasp and smell comes into play. its all up to you on how much money you want to spend and how much hp and tq you want to gain.

USE THE SEARCH BUTTON MY MAN.

OP- question: what is the purpose of your modding? you've decided on the RV6 exhaust but WHY? you ask about j-pipes and HFPC/PCDs but have no idea why you want/should get them and what they are.

i think you're the 2nd newb from houston to ask about mods but has no vision for his car. i'm just asking is all. if you want to throw parts at your car, then have at it. if you want to learn about these parts and the car...there is a wealth of info on this forum to help you make informed decisions for what YOU want YOUR car to be.

oh...be careful around justn...
