Nah, for $1200 the difference is negligible.

Update

True dual exhaust is installed. Now that I'm free flowing on the exhaust side, I'll move over to the intake side of things and start plucking away.

Really nice setup man! Sounds like there is a little bit of rasp tho...no? Maybe due to the PCD?

Yeah, there is a bit of rasp there. From 3.5-4.5k rpms. It blends well with the note of the RV6 though, so it's not too overbearing.

Update

Now that I'm fully bolted on the exhaust side, I think it's a good time to get dynod to see where I'm at. There is a dyno day with a local company two weeks from now that I will be attending to see where I stand. Today I ordered all parts for my 105k service. I needed to spend a little bit more to get free in store pickup so I dished out for the ZDX throttle body. After dynoing later this month, I'll start on the intake side of things with the ZDX throttle body, 3.7 intake manifold, and have gerzand port and polish everything for me. Will likely dyno again at that point, and then get FlashPro and get tuned.

It's going to be interesting to see what I dyno with just full RV6 exhaust.

Good stuff, always nice to have more numbers as bench marks for the TL. Im sure you'll be in the 290-305 whp range tuned with full bolt ons. (assuming pnp runners, TB, and IM)

I'm thinking that with just full exhaust I'm going to fall into the 275-285whp range. So I'm hoping that once I've done work on the intake side I will be closer to that 305whp mark

dynapack should make your path to 300 easier. Those read higher than dynojets even.

Do you know what your base power numbers are on a dynapack? For me it isn't so much about the number 300 so much as the difference between stock and fully bolted-on.

No idea, I wasn't going to pay to dyno stock when there are so many 6MT type-s baseline dynos out there.

Ended up melting a little bit of my CV boot today so had to place another order and to eclipse the free shipping price point I went ahead and just ordered the 3.7 IM and the rest of the required hardware.

Last few remaining bolt-on mods are the 4" CAI, lighweight stock sized crank pulley and lightweight flywheel (if you consider that a bolt on).

I'm going to be replacing my clutch within the next week or two as well with likely a spec stage 3 cltuch and lightweight flywheel.

Ordered new OEM spark plugs and bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor due to CEL.

Getting closer to Flashpro + tune.

i totally agree with this. You want low numbers go on a mustang dyno... all my numbers i post are from a mustang dyno unless i post otherwise.

So if Mustang dynos read low and Dynapack/Dynojet read high, where is the tweener that is most accurate?

I think the majority of gear heads tend to view SAE corrected Dynojet 224 or 248 numbers to be the most "accurate". But in reality, "accurate dyno" is kind of an oxymoron when you factor in all the different readings from brand to brand and even among the same brand. As long as you're using the same dyno each time and it's properly calibrated, you're able to accurately gauge progress. That's all that matters.

Where are you getting your 4" CAI? I've been unable to find much info on where to obtain one.

Most of the people that have them keep quiet on what they did, I haven't seen much. I don't have one yet but I will update this thread once I find a viable solution.

Story of my life man. I go on short term stints of obsession with different hobbies and end up moving on quickly

Normally it's not a big deal because it keeps me happy but this little hobby happens to have an iron grip on my wallet

Is the 3.7 intake manifold held together by bolts? It looks like it can easily be taken apart for PnP.

I got mine here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261212929755...84.m1497.l2649

Sent an offer of $250.00. I do not know these folks but it came right away.

That Airaid master kit is steep. I ordered just the 4" tubing from Jeg's for like $100 (still steep) and then an AEM 7" filter for around $40. Got clamps, couplers, reducers from siliconeintakes.com. Think my total outlay was around $190 for everything.

^^^ You can get the 4" cai system for about $120 up to $150 if you get an expensive filter. That includes EVERYTHING. I know, I've built them. Though I will say I lost my work computer and I no longer have the url to the places I bought from.

Yeah, I could've gotten metal instead of the Airaid and saved some money, but I like the stealth look and hopefully lower temps of the Airaid. Hell, even AEM sells build your own intake piping now!

How do you lose a computer? A laptop?

My work computer died on my co-worker and they didn't tell me they replaced it. So things that I had saved on the computer are lost.

Btw my piping is aluminum so it does better with heat than steel and is lighter and easier to cut. I have mine pained a matte black that looks good and helps with reducing heat soak.

Update

Installed my 3.7 IM, TB, and runners yesterday. We forgot to plug the fuel rail back in for the rear bank and had cylinder misfires on 1 and 5 . Only took backing it out the garage to realize that. Runs great. I have recently just put on my 255/40 tires and was unable to chirp tires in second anymore but I'm back to being able to do so (unfortunately).

I dyno this weekend! Wish I had my aluminum flywheel and spec stage 3+ clutch installed but I won't. 300whp

JJH, stock exhaust? If so, then no, but if you have 3" to let it breath then I think you may hit 300.

Are you coming out Chad? I'm working on sourcing a FlashPro tune before dynoing. I'll likely fall somewhere between 290-300.

Nah tuning will actually utilize all those bolt ons properly and make that curve much better. Plus that extra HP will be what gets you over 300. IMO

And shit I totally forgot. I'll try. Isn't it suppose to rain all weekend?
