Just got my exhaust done, sounds so perfect zero rasp with tge 22" Rez. Super deep not to loud and sounds good at any rpm. Little to no drone on the highway. Tips look great too.

Hey, just want to you guys know there is another coupon which is 25% off for that website. Even better than "superhonda"

It is "vento".
I just bought 2 #12148, and 4 #35123. The price lowered to $293.78 from $392.76. Almost a $100 bucks discount.

Yonkers, did you ever get your car dyno'd to see what kind of gains you got? I'd be interested in those numbers.

Cheers,

rasp

Hey man, I'm thinking about building the same exhaust set up. I noticed that you have a j-pipe and PCD's... did this set up eliminate all the rasp from the exhaust?

This is awesome. I didn't want to drop $1k on an ATLP, but for $500 or less, this looks sweet...

I think with the ASPEC bumper it looks OK...if it were me I would move the mufflers a bit back so that the tips flow more with the lip...

But then again it's not our car maybe the OP likes it better like that. It makes it look more original and unique!

yea its up to you, to where u wanna position Ur tips when u weld them, i went for the poke look cause i didn't want it to look like the stock type s quads. but just make sure u have the a-spec lip on when u weld it or ur gonna get ur tips to far in or out.

I know this is an older thred but you cant tell too much from the video how it is in reality. So... how is the rasp with the 14 inch resonator? I like the tone of the set up but I dont want rasp so i was thinking of doing the 18" res. if there is any rasp.

I forgot to post my videos but anyways here they are.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MTbN...e_gdata_player

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVFoE...e_gdata_player

I ended up taking the resonator off and replaced it with 3" from jpipe to Y.

I had a 24" or 22" (can't remember which) resonator and I still had rasp so I said f it and took it off. Might be installing another muffler in the future to cut back drone.

to anyone who has done this set up with the base bumper or aspec lip do the tips touch? and if so does it give any vibration noises?

Yonkers, what suspension setup are you running do you have coilovers? or a combo setup?

I will do a similar set up more than likely but with the center off-set muffler magnaflow # 14362. I want to do the 2.5in piping from the cat to the y with a mid muffler delete. My quesiton is this ( im not very good with exhaust set ups) on my res. i want an 18 but do i need to have the 2.0 inch or 2.25 holes or can i do the 2.5 inch? part numbers 10424, 10425,10426

No im full exhaust including pre-cats but ya the drone is present between 2.0 to 3.0 k, if ur concerned about drone i would go with the biggest resonator u can get

I couldn't find those part numbers but even if you have a 2.5 inch pipe they can make it fit with an exhaust pipe that is a different diameter as long as it is with an inch difference or so..
