[QUOTE=Roger555;12088903]I guess you still have to pay to get them welded on but such a great looking mod for the price!!! Probably the best/cheapest mod I've ever bought.
Can you please take some close up pics where the tips and the plastic trim meet (A-spec bumper) I just want to see how close the tips are to the valence of the bumper. Thanks. An angle pic would also help, so that I can see how flush the tips are.

Bought these tips. Same exact one as the 99.99 ones, but for a really good deal.

Hey Roger, you need to delete some old inbox mail because i cant send a PM to you since its full lol
Anyways, i guess ill just post my message here.
I just ordered a pair myself
Basically, my question is..should there be special instructions prior to having it installed? or is it just a straight cut-off of the old exhaust tips and these just go on?

Nothing specil just cust the old tips off near the base of the muffler, it takes some time positioning them in place to get the best fit. I has to trim just a tiny bit of the inner plastic of the aspec to get them to where I liked the fit. I'll post some pics of the welds soon

Looking good Roger! I don't think I'll be doing this to my TL but I want to see these in person!
You've been flying so far on the mods! I like your future plans

I would say the price for my tips is spot on! Trust me I have bought a few sets of tips in my day and you get what you pay for. If you are paying 20 for tips welded on your tips are 100% for sure NOT stainless steel!! They are just chromed steel and they WILL rust! Do yourself a favor and make sure the tips you buy are either polished 304 stainless steel or chromed 304 stainless steel. Polished is even better because you don't have to worry about the chrome flaking but chrome is usually a bit shinier. Dont skimp out especially if your gonna weld them on!!! Depend on where you live you will be cutting them off in 3 months to a year oh and I see your in Ohio they will be rusted by November
