My Dyno before Supercharger

So I the Temp was about 80*F and the Humidity is about 36%

My best pull was 246 WHP and 211 TRQ SAE corrected

I'll get the Graphs up once i get ahold of a camera or scanner.

Also I'll have a video of the dyno too.

Damn, that was my exact whp without the supercharger. I think my trq was 215, but that could of been just the temp or humidity difference. I guess you are going to get it done again after the blower. I am going to get mine dynoed at e-shift at our meet. I guess we will be at 300 - 305 whp.

Sounds good. Is your trq a bit low or is it just me? Im probably under the wrong impression? I was thinking something like 225-230 trq, maybe just MT. It might be the dyno.

Wish I could say your going to love your s/c... but i dont have one

When you comin back to Socal? I would love to see your s/c

Here is a shitty pic of the graph and a video of the Dyno. I'll get a better scan of the graph later.

Also note, The Technician said i should see a couple more hp with a cleaner intake filter and cooler temp.

My AEM filter has about 18k miles on it and never been cleaned. Plus he didn't put the fan near my grill... it was pointing at my "Acura" Logo on the bumber

2 questions...

1. Is the "growl" from just the AEM CAI or is it a combo of the pulley and exhaust as well.

2. Where did you get your work done? I live in Issaquah.

Thanks!

1. Growl is from AEM CAI, Exhaust, Pro-Cats combined... the UR pulley doesn't add sound

2. I did all the work myself in my garage.

I'll be selling my AEM CAI and UR pulley later this week if you are interested.
They need to come off for the supercharger.

We should meet up sometime

Whistle sounds different with the hood up.
Did you ever have someone drive your car past you under WOT on the street. It sounds Bad ass. I had my friend do it today, he passed me at the top of 1st switching to 2nd and it was loud. From the front, all you hear is the whistle and when it passes you, you hear the loud exhaust.

oh man.. that sounds amazing... My car is under the knife right now, driving around a 06 TL loaner... god, that thing is so sluggish, no pep compared to a modified one.

Also if you supercharged guys are interested, I'm talking to a shop right now that build pulleys and I've been recommended to them by lots of supercharged people.

Gonna see if they can make me a Stock Sized Crank Pulley that is light like the UR crank pulley. I think we should get better throttle response and quicker revs.

UR made a stock sized crank pulley for the TL-S supercharged guys and they love it.

Also, my next project will be getting a smaller boost pulley made. The only way you can do this is by adding the water injection kit. The reason for this is cause you will have to advance the timing with a smaller pulley. With water/methanol I am almost positive you will not have to advance any timing, plus we cant mess with our timing on our cars either. So what I am looking into doing is having a machinest make a smaller boost pulley, and having a bigger crank pulley made. When this is done, I hope to be looking at 2more psi.

It's a road course class and event... 1st day is a in class event, 2nd day is track day. then you get certified and you can run whenever they have open track days.

hmmmm I did a little research and I went to PIR's website and it lists that June 1st is ProDrives test day.... and that the 2nd is some other event.....

http://www.portlandraceway.com/schedule.asp

Then I wanted to find out what Test Day implied and I came up with this...

http://www.prodrive.net/test_day.shtml

Yikes $300

Ok.. I have to tell you that I can't stand the sound of little Japanese four and six cylinder rice burns with their megaphone exhaust (German and American, too). This also includes Ferraris. What I DO like sound-wise is good old American V8 iron.

But I have to tell you that your TL has maybe the best sound I have yet heard from these cars. Congratulations and nice going.
