Muffler question

Ok so i have an 06 TL. I want to make it a little bit louder.. But dont have the money for a whole new exhaust. A friend of mine told me that just by changing out my mufflers it can make it a little bit louder.. Is that true? I was looking at thrush turbo mufflers from autozone.. They were only $30.. I know that they obviously wont make it much louder because theyre sort of a cheap piece. But will it help improve the sound at all? If anyone could help me out here id really appreciate it. If the thrush wont help that much does anyone have any other suggestions for mufflers? Preferably under $60 a muffler! Thanks!

I'd Adivse To Just Go With A Full Exhaust System Yes Its On The Pricey Side But The Improvement In Sound Is 100x's Better, Muffler Tips To The Stock Muffler Really Do Not Make A Huge Difference And Is A Slight Waste Of Money. IMO Ill Keep A Eye Out For Any Mufflers Tho For In That Price Range

Search up the mid muffler delete. Should give a bit more volume.

I did this after reading that thread ... it has helped but not quite enough for me. I'm still debating on the next step.

Start with this and see if it's what you are looking for. It definitely gives you some more sound from 2.8K - 4K. Shouldn't cost too much for your local muffler shop to remove the mid muffler and put a straight pipe in it's place.

You have an Acura, not a 90's civic. Don't rice the shit out of it by slapping on a 30$ muffler. Don't be that guy. Do the mid muffler and resonator delete, add a CAI and that's the loudest you're going to get respectfully. If you want louder, buy quality full exhaust. If you can afford it, well start saving.

Price of mufflers have nothing to do with the volume/sound quality. Just straight pipe it for now, removing the rear two mufflers isn't that loud. You can always change the mufflers around later.

Previous owner before me had some nice carbon fiber mufflers (CHEAP) with the mid muffler delete and it sounds GOOOOOD. However, i'll be upgrading once my supercharger is on

You can definitely go that route aswell, there's absolutely no rasp for me and i can vouch for this. If you want a video let me know

I believe the RASP comes from changing the J-pipe
