so i was talkin with one of my friends who has a msd installed on his car. basically it increases the spark or ignition something like that and it gives him extra power and stuff. wondering if anyone knows what msd really is and wud it work on tls?

 

I am the fitment guru... but this one I wouldn't try and if it is compatible

haha i have no idea wht is it or anything since i dont kno wht ignition systems are and wht they do...i do kno its like a rectangle box thing wired up to the car...idk i thought someone here wud kno..he has it on a 94 celica and he got it for like 250 fuly installed and its giving him ridiuclous power

hmm i think he had it connected to his distributor or something and it juiced his spark plugs or something to get a stronger spark for better combustion for more power...i dont know i just emailed a msd rep asking wht stuff they do for Tls and toher cars...

ok well not 'ridiculous power', that wud be an overstatement, but it definitely gave him some gains in hp and torque.
