Most amount of whp until something blows?
Whats the most amount of horsepower can a 3G TL push before something blows?? I've heard the manifolds and tranny cannot exceed 350hp..? Is that correct? If so any suggestions?

Ussi is supercharged with an imense amount of engine mods and basically mods in general. lol Fact of the matter is if you got the money, then you can have the horsepower. lol I believe him. Thinkin about modding my 06 tl but with a rear mounted turbo from this company that does a good job with them but cant remember the name... But I have an extended warranty that will kick in after my 50k mark which will be in about a 1000 miles that I paid a sh*tload for so I might not want to risk voiding it. lol If I don't mod my tl I'll rebuy another 69 mustang to mod up. Lemme tell you that old cars are a helluva lot cheaper to get mass amounts of horsepower (600hp+) out of than a tl. I love my tl and will always drive one as a daily driver but for a fun car to joyride and impress chicks with... I'll take another 69 mustang any day. lmao My old 69 stang got me laid more times than I can count... Just make sure to stay with a 351windsor and stroke it out so you can still fit an AC and heater and power steering. lol

Tuning is essential to any setup...It helps longevity and it helps performance. Reflashes IMO dont do much at all. You dont get into the good stuff until you start jacking around with timing and fuel. Thats where you can start making power depending on how good your tuner is.

Another thing that holds it up is the confidence in the tunning places. Several shops say that can but the fear of them tearing something up is stopping me. One member hear was talking about his tune and then next thing you know it blows up on him.
If it was a civic or integra I would feel at ease. Since no one in my area has touched a TL it frightens me.

a friend of mine builds drag cars for NHRA races.... down in the tampa, fl area.... he said with a single turbo mounted in the batteries location he can have the car up to 400hp....and he said thats a simple setup.....but not on stock internals.... everything modded up and correctly tuned....he said no daily driving and only a few rips down the drag before you need to start changing parts again lol.

Why am I selling it? Its called...I have come to understand I can only have so many toys in this world to a great degree. No shit...right now I have 5 cars in front of my house....and one truck parked at my office. So much shit in my garage I cant park jack in there...ect. I have to get rid of some shit....plain and simple.
Right now I am selling the GS400, the Acura, and just about anything else sitting around in my garage. Long term goal....I will own the caddy outright, owe nothing whatsoever on anything else anywhere. Not a bad place to be in todays economy. Fact is....this is where rich people are going to be made, my friend, due to the opportunities that are presenting themselves because of the current state of our economy. If you are not in a financial position to take advantage of those opportunities....then you will be one of those that sits and watches as somebody else capitalizes on it and profits.
I'm not in a bad spot either....I own the GS400 outright...and the Acura I dont owe that much on....so if the GS400 sells first....I could end up keeping the Acura. Who knows. Would like to sell both of em for the space though. Hell...thats not even mentioning the RX-7 project.
The reason I said what I said was....I have some 55,000 invested in this Acura and that CTS-V Caddy will flat walk away from it at half the cost bone stock OEM. Not the best cost comparison though as one was bought when the economy was down from somebody who needed to shed the debt off their credit due to a job loss. They had JUST got it right at 4 weeks ago too. I got a rippin deal on it too. Cause actually its less than half the cost of what I have in the Acura.
I still love my Acura though. After a winning racing season last year its really hard to give her up honestly.
