Mod List: Almost Complete

So I posted a couple days ago what I am looking to do to my 2004 NBP TL it already has the A-spec kit. So I wrote up the list in order of priority. If you notice something missing please let me know (Money is not an object).

Below is the list in preferable order...I can see 1-9 being rather quick orders/installs by the end of August.. Let me know thoughts.

1. De-badge (back letters, front midbar and Symbol)
2. Touch Up paint any/all scratches, front grill
3. Detail Clean
4. Tint 20% all around Blacked Headlights/Tails
5. Decklid - http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Mercha...egory_Code=ATL
6. Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust - http://www.greddy.com/products/displ...&SubCategory=2
7. ATLP J-Pipe - http://www.acuratlparts.com/product.php?pid=3
8. Enkei FN18 (or another really nice set of Black Rims)
9. AEM CAI - http://www.aempower.com/ViewProduct.aspx?ProductID=469
10. Comptech Supercharger - http://www.autocarparts.com/part/1649/0/

Anything missing? I am only doing exterior/performance atm...Interior will come around xmas time (I want to rip out the back seat shave weight and put in a sound system in its place) Recommendations for more HP/Torque are always nice.

On a side note killed a Lexus last night hit 120 before running out of road he backed down at 105. Buh bye

My problem is i can't take my buddies Civic Si Turbo with my stock TL we'll see after the list is installed tho I keep up with him nicely.

Also considering: Unorthodox Racing Pulleys (Anyone had any good or bad feelings about these? Any other brands come to mind?)

Also any recommendations of a 30psi boost gauge to go with the Supercharger?

Also I will be throwing up a Before and After video when everything gets in to the garage. We will be throwing the Bone Stock TL on the Dyno produce some #'s then hit the tools probably after 1-9 (possibly pulleys) but before the Supercharger we will throw it back up on the Dyno get some update numbers. Then drop the supercharger and run the final set of numbers.

I'll probably throw the video up on youtube and then on here for all of you guys should be around first week in September.

Don't forget a Street Glow Neon Light Kit. Just messin'.

Do they make a intercooler kit for that Comptech S/C? If so, I'd probably really look into that if your budget allows. I remember tuning a few S/C cars (Hondas). IATs were so dang high. Cooler air is always better, hehe.

I also install an EGT gauge in any F/I or heavily modified N/A car. Don't bother with those silly A/F gauges hooked up to a narrowband O2 sensor.

Good luck with the project and definitely post some dynos and videos!

I will never understand why people want to run a 30psi boost gauge on a car that runs 5 psi. I would rather have it look like I am actually making some boost and use a 15psi gauge, .

Intake manifold silicone gasket by p2r is a must (excelerate has them) I think he's running them for $40

Also you should put 1 silicone gasket between the throttle body and the s/c he has those too these I think are $20

As far as mention of a fmic... Agree 100% the heat generated with these motors stock is enough to heat soak her, imagine with the s/c

Looking forward to seeing you progress.. Reminds me of a young padowon (check spelling no idea how to spell that shit hehee)

Any recommendations on a good fmic?

Padawan :P

Yeah I initially took out a large chunk of change to buy the Evo till the dentist rearranged my priorities. Now I have a lot of spare $$$ and a TL that needs a hug. So money isnt much of a concern its what i need to make her run smoothly.

Def look into the gaskets they sound like an easy decision

Lowering it is and will prob be on my mind itll come last. I'm hoping the new rims change the look a bit. The front end to me just looks REALLY high off the ground compared to most of the guys TLs here.

Not to be rude, but why are you street racing? I thought people were more grown up than that. Nice list though.

Closed Roads near where I live where there is 0 residential and 0 police its not on their radar. The lexus hugged me the road so i took it he followed....he couldnt keep up with the TL power

I only touch the gas on closed roads where no one besides myself can be hurt.

Well its like I said its closed off its really no different than being on the track except instead of walls its trees. The road is exceptionally clean and the only cop i've ever seen take the road was cutting the crossing between the two connecting roads to get to an accident and he was doing about 90mph :P

It does have a posted 50mph sign but lord its old. The reason its closed off is because it cuts through a Wildlife Preservation Area so its literally in the middle of two 2 ponds and a field.

I am also very careful with my TL it means a lot to me and I've been keeping every single piece up to date from scheduled maintenance to recalls the car is always serviced at the dealer i bought it from and we have a good relationship with them there.

I promise I try not to be stupid with her.
