aftermarket jpipes are a direct replacement of the OEM jpipe. out with the old, in with the new.

The j-pipes on the market are direct replacement parts.

^^Just so you know, if you ordered RV-6's jpipe you have to remove the 3rd cat as well.

yup, and comfirm with people around my area, that will still pass emission test (smog) since the 3rd cat is there as a warm up cat

Yeah, 3rd cat is not critical. It's there for the ULEV standard. There's no sensors and you'll still pass emissions. But if the tech does a visual check he may fail you since you're not supposed to remove any cats from the exhaust. However, I don't know anyone who's had a problem with this. The tech would have to know that there was supposed to be a cat there. And normally if the diagnositc and sniffer check comes back good then you're good to go.

LOL. These were going to be my exact words.

OP any of the aftermarket Jpipes will work and bolt up directly. The XLR8 V2 and RV6 V3 replace both your stock Jpipe and 3rd cat, and connect directly to your stock exhaust. You will notice more power throughout the RPM range, even on the stock exhaust.
