...i just passed through jacksonville yesterday on 95 north....thought about gettin in contact with you to check out your TL.
I'm not sure what to tell you other than have everything connected as the directions indicate. I haven't had any check engine light problems besides a miserable evaporative emmisions control leak that isn't detrimental to anything besides passing inspection.

Yes, just hook the RED/BLUE wire back up together.
One thing you guys should check to see if your engine is hitting / rubbing on anything that could case a vibration. The knock sensor is very sensitive to vibration and noise and would throw the code if it senses anything irregular.
I had the code before and I found out that my Greddy strut bar was hitting the bolt on the intake manifold. As soon as I raised the strut bar, no more knock sensor code.
Hope it helps!

well i connected with back to the stock way bypassing the ACM and so far nothing has come on yet... and i've been beatin on the car..pushin it to see if ne cel would pop up but nothing, i'm gonna give it a week or so b4 i go and solder the wires together..
ok now i have a question... what was the point of goin through the ACM for the knock sensor in the 1st place?? is it b/c its more sensetive and it would come on earlier...and would there be a long run problem having the ACM bypassed for the knock sensor?? cuz i think there has to be a reason y it was suppose to be done..
