Kikazz Acura TL Type S Jandr Turbo Kit Transformation begins in 3 days 550 whp goal

The Veyron engine is running probably around 2,000Hp, but once that weight is tacked on, it's lost about 800 of it, or so says Bugatti.
About the bugatti comment, its a fast car and it would pull on the TL past 140MPH, but AWD from a roll eats up a lot of power. I never said it would go crazy on it but it would give it a good race. HP numbers mean nothing. Weight/aero dynamics/CR/tune/set up/driver...there are so many factors and just because its rated at 10.4 at the track remember its AWD so from a roll I would be surprised if it ran high 10's which this TL should give it a run for its money. Anyone can buy a car out of the box like the new Mustang CobraJET that runs low 9's, but to build something like this is priceless.
This is a great built, but judging from the videos being shown, 560whp doesn't appear to be hooking until 3rd gear & that's apparently just feathering the throttle. Maybe even with radials (& beefed up axles?) and a spot on driver, I just don't see this car being good for any sort of drag times. The TL just isn't really that kind of car & to build it to be kind of makes it anything but a TL anymore.
This Veyron talk though, is just nonsense in its highest form. A Veyron isn't built to be running 1/4 mile times and anywhere beyond that, the TL is just a spec in the mirror.
Awesome build, honestly, but let's try to keep these comparisons realistic.

Bugatti runs 10.4, I have seen Pauls build and for 10k he runs 11/12's. For an extra 6k he can fully build the engine and it'll run high 10's all day. So please enlighten me how 30k can't bring the TL into the 9/10's.
Paul is building a 750whp fully built twin turbo accord and he is a member here. I would say it's costing somewhere around 20k.
I said run with, not walk all over a Bugatti.

I believe that it is good to compare different builders builds. It not only keeps both builders on thier toes because of competition but also makes sure we as consumers can get the best products and craftsmanship. Again congrats to Kikazz for his success, through competing with each other i hope that j-series will get more attention and then hopefully more support, i have already got heads turning because of just my engine build.

All motor
I believe this car isn't breaking axles because he isn't getting traction. If he threw some slicks on and went to the track, I'd almost guarantee broken axles within the first 2 passes. Spinning doesn't break anything, hooking does. There's no way the stock axles can hold up to 560whp (more than double stock output atw).
If this TL hooks at the track, it has 11s all over it. With a 1.6 60', this thing will easily be in the mid 11s I think. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see mid 120mph traps with that much power. 335s with mid 400 to the wheels are putting down 116-119mph traps. With another 100whp (although gearing plays a part) in a similar-weight car, I don't see why mid 120s would be a problem.

Running with FWD, all season tires and wheel hop breaks axels as well..

hahaha, that comment made my day.
main contributor. Get some decent rubber, slicks or drag radials, decent suspension, and i see the trans cleaning 3rd gear before it breaks axels.
Thanks again Rodney for your continued support for our passion. Without you and your dedication many of us would still be looking for a solution for the many problems we run into modding the J sereis.
Now lets see 500whp stock motor. and show the rods may be a little small, but cant still pack a punch. (i may be the guine pig for that one)

TLDREAM I THINK WE WILL see these stock rods at 500 pretty soon i have a 3.2 liter j32a3 with pistons and stock rods here it comes 562 whp on stock rods yes im going to do it i may be using a bit higher octane than 93 but stay tuned time to push the envelope especially with timing control and knock monitoring we will see what these rods are capable off ,but tldream id love to do a completely stock motor....

External wastegate vented to atmosphere. It's normal. You can easily have it dump back into the exhaust. IMO I hate the sound of the external to atmosphere and the car will be much quieter with it going back into the exhaust.

thanks definetly heard your concerns about knock which we have worked on and able to control thank you this tl definetly has jandr tl hiding so definetly its time to step up with a 650whp pull even thou drivetrain may not uphold im sure a dyno pull wouldnt hurt

Well over here at jandr will offer a 410-420 whp tune with turbo kit purchase and ecu which is plenty of power for dd Tl ....
As for the cost on build so far I think we can have a general idea according to your goal ,while 420 whp might not required a engine build having 560+ will required some attention to the internals ,and ill say the clutch is a must have as it transfer and hold the power very well ...

I noticed that also libert as mine was as loud as yours but kikazz isn't loud one bit its actually a sound you want on kikazz car but you're right libert ours are down right Loud that is why I opt to dump mine into Downpipe ,but I think theres a trick with cutting pipe but if there's is ill find out shortly if it doesn't work then we will dump it into exhaust ...
