K&N Filter Part Number
K&N Filter Part Number
I know someone posted this before but the search is not finding it. I'm looking for the stock replacement K&N Air filter part number. I remember a post about two part numbers, one of which was not correct but was being sold as the replacement for the TL.
Thanks in advance

Well, I guess they flow more air than the stock filter, but they also allow more particulate matter in too. I doubt that using one will increase the engine power by any measurable amount, but there will surely be more scoring on the cylinder walls. Kinda depends on what your priorities are.
True and as the collect dirt (which occurs rather quickly since they're oil-wetted), the lose any flow benefits they had when new. The best after market filter you can buy is the Apexi Power Intake "funnel" filter. It's a dry element and flows better than the K&N. But they're expensive (around $75) and hard to find. Berk Technologies sells them.
