J pipe tester in Chicago

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in testing a j pipe I am making for the Accord. I just found out that the 4th gen TL's shares the same header design as the TL. I already have an Accord lined up for dyno but no TL yet. Send me a PM and let me know what you think.

This is picture of the version with 2.0" runner. One with larger runners is in the works.

If we do come in for the testing, would you give one free to the tester?

This was just a one of the prototypes, with 2.0" runners. We made a one with 2.36" runners but it did not fit. There is a another prototype comming with 2.25" runners, I have a feeling this will be the winner. The 2.0" j pipe is on a test car right now and he reports a stronger midrange. As on price it depends on how many sell so far there are 3 people on the accord list.

I'm not sure how many have actually installed J-pipes...not many if I remember correctly.
Any update on yours and when you need my car?

richie, i just dyno'd my car today on a dynojet with the stock jpipe. if you have one with the 2.0 piping, i can buy, install and compare for us SC'd guys... i loved the custom one i have now, but i am slammed about 4 inches and it got scaped a little bit. its still good, but i wanted to take it off and sell it to someone not as low, before it got really damaged. the one you have showing looks like its tucked under like the stock unit, so it will be perfect.

i can feel a BIG difference without it and i want another one ASAP. i promise to get it dyno'd right away at the same place, to compare results. im sure alot of the boosted guys are wondering how much power they can achieve with this mod too. LMK

i am still waiting for the shop to get back to me, i will call them tomorrow and see what the hold up is. the 2.0" is still with the tester, the new 2.25" pipe should be here soon.

So tell me about your engine swap? TL engine in a Accord?

sexy! Just wondering how badly you need this j pipe, am only getting one prototype. I have promised this to the accord tester, I could try to arrange for a second one or you could just wait 3 weeks for the production run.

Just got done with the dyno runs on the accord, the result were pretty good, everyone at the shop was impressed with the gains. Since we didn't loose any low end TQ I have a feeling that with the resonator test pipe the gains would be even better.

Dyno 1:
AEM CAI (v.1)
Apexi WS2 Catback
Stock J-Pipe

Dyno 2:
AEM CAI (v.1)
Apexi WS2 Catback
2.25in J-pipe

Zoomed in a little

My scanner sucks ill work on getting a better scan. Basically increases in TQ and HP through out the entire power band. I can't wait for dyno with resonator.

TQ
Stock: 201
Jpipe: 208
Gain: 7 Ft-lb

HP:
Stock: 219
Jpipe: 224
Gain: 5 WHP
