Which J pipe for a slammed car
Which J pipe for a slammed car
Ok my next mod guys is either the newly improved rv-6 jpipe combo or the atlp j pipe my cars is basically slammed no finger gap im slammed about 2.5" so the car is on the floor as seen so i need a good j pipe with good ground clearance so gimme ideas guys thanks. I want to do this before my 6 speed conversion.
its so tough before atlp v3 was the best now rv6 v3 looks like it gets more gains more inputs keep em coming i should ordering this pretty soon im comparing the gains and sound quality because i have the aem v2

both should sit higher up than the lowest part of the car...so you should be good either way. jpipe doesnt really change the sound, so no difference there. the big thing is whether you want to delete the third cat. atlp if not, rv6 if yes.

J-pipes have minimal changes to the exhaust noise.
For performance wise, I'd choose RV6 V3 in a heartbeat.
And for Customer Service, I'd choose RV6 also.
Richie has been working diligently to provide a great exhaust and J-pipe. When the competitors were beating him and talking about "exhaust scavenging", he thought to himself, "What can I do to make my products better"? Well that is what he did and always have been doing for us.

This is really the only deciding issue. Other than that, they're pretty similar to each other. FWIW, I'm on Tein SS's that are about 1/4" from being maxed out, and I haven't had any contact with my ATLP v2 j-pipe.
No offense OP but have you ever heard of a period? You post was a little tough to read.
Anyways. Like most have said, in order to gain maximum ground clearance you'll need to delete the 3rd cat. Go with the RV6.

ok thanks, but im gearing towards rv-6 but if i remove the 3rd cat then i will basically get the j-pipe plus the pcd then or im mixing it up. Or the 3rd cat would be removed and replaced with a straight pipe correct me if im wrong.
I have owned the RV6 V2 combo and the now the RV6 V3 Jpipe and the clearance is great for slammed cars. I currently drop on Tein SS and with the RV6 V3 I dont need to worry much. The customer service is great with Richie.
thanks man i think i will go with the rv6 do you have like a sound clip of your setup
