Which CAI do you have? Here's the one for AEM though.

Well guys, live and learn. The Vibrant cai has 2 nipples on it, 1 for the hose that most others have and one on the other side just like it. That means to attach the sensor from the throttle body I would have to drill and tap (I think the metal is too thin for that) have something welded ,or try a fitting with locknuts. I'm probably going to return it. Thanks for all your help.

I kinda wondered about this one as it was the first time I have heard of this brand used on the 3G TL. Figured maybe somebody new was coming into the market....Vibrant is not new whatsoever....but new to 3G TL anyway. You would have been the first that ever ordered it or saw it.

I would not order that intake or sell it to anyone. It is a short ram intake that looks like it was made by APC or 3A Tuning. All that thing would be good for is noise.

On a side note Vibrant is on the up and up. They make those kind of intakes b/c some of their distributors want to see a broader line and inexpensive parts so Vibrant had/has to make parts like that. Their exhausts though are pretty nice.

I know we use them for 4 ply reinforced silicone tubing and couplers as they dont swell or buckle very easily. Also used for high boost turbo apps. I think they make air to air intercoolers too...not sure about the quality of those intercoolers though...never used one of those. we use em mainly for hoses.

The site I ordered it from has some bad information,I called them and they assured me it was for the 04 TL,I went to the Vibrant site and noticed they didn't list one for our cars, needless to say I'll be sending it back. Thanks again for the help.
