Blew the doors off a 2007 Mustang GT Automatic with straight pipe from the final cat all the way back with rear muffler delete. Times were 14.1 @ 100 for me and 14.9 @ 98 for him. Track temp was 78 degrees with 83(!) percent humidity. Lights out on that ass. Filmed from three different angles with a close up brightened still image to confirm that it was in fact a GT. Time slip at end of video.

How do you hype a car that runs mostly low 14 second passes beside my one 13.9? This is how you hype a car that runs mostly low 14 second passes beside that 13.9.

I have heard that too but someone I recently talked to broke it down a little more clearly and for my exact situation with all the bolt ons I have, they said I would see gains. Only on top end though. A few friends of mine went 3 inch on the cat back and they said it pulls noticeably better up top and that they still had their low end. So I guess it really depends if you have the supporting mods or not.

Personally I would first focus on getting out of all that debt that your TL and its mods have put you in. Look at it this way, you free them up, then you have more $$$ to get more "worthy" mods done to your car. You have accomplished a good bit with your ride and many don't respect that but all that debt is limiting you as well because your out of funds.

But do those "friends" have it on a TL? You got to remember not all cars, specifically the TL, do not respond to certain mods as other cars do. So simply adding a 3" exhaust, despite all your other mods may not net the same gains as the other cars your "friends" have done. If adding a 3" exhaust to a NA TL netted the same gains as your "friends" did, then many members here would already be running them. Furthermore the vendors would more than likely have 3" versions of their exhaust systems as well. Some have those made to order by request if you're running FI as sockr1 and countless members have mentioned. Just food for thought.

Its addicting I'm sure, but I dont think Id go much further into this man. Just be happy with what you have. At the end of the day its a Automatic TL. (still a great car)
I gave up trying to mod for power thinking I'm going to make my car noticeably faster, once I realized that, I then focused on making it look pretty lol.
With that said I will buy HFPC in the future

Long story short, trust advice from people who have info and data to backup their claims. Also others who have more than proven their knowledge and experience such as Bruce, Andy, ILC, Yungone, etc just to name a few.
