So I've been doing research on HKS and Greddy but it seems that they do not make exhaust for the tl (to my knowledge anyways). The only one that I can seem to find is Tanabe. I was wondering if you guys knew any other places to find a good exhaust price doesn't matter. And also if a custom one would be the way to go. Thanks.

Search true dual exhaust.
Seems to be the BEST sounding and the BEST Performance gains

Custom is always nice route 2.5 after the headers
Or just do 3 inches but that's crazy and I'm not sure about gains

HKS is not avaliable to us and Greddy is discontinued.
There is a sticky on performance parts on the first page up top of the performance section. Search there.
Also while you are searching, there are members with custom exhaust too.

Not quite, its a preference. The resonated XLR8 sounds exotic and sexy to me. The net gains are about the same just like our jpipes. We have precats not headers iirc.

We dont have headerS , we have 2 pre cats that go into a jpipe then into a 3rd cat,then the catback

All make catback exhausts for our cars . Now if you hunt in the black market , you may find a used Greddy or a used CT Engineering catback . Both of those are now discontinued.

Another option would be getting a j pipe and doing the staged exhausts mods to get the sound and some performance you want . Searching is your friend

xlr8 resonated, decent sound but not crazy loud...hands down the best mod i have...ok one of the best mods i have haha
