slow down friend.

So far that what I notice . I haven't have time to get on the highway and go more then 4k rpm. I know I have more then that because of my setup 3.7 intake manifold and tb 4 "intake atlp jpipe test pipe and cat back.

okay, i forgive you.
but dont give half reviews.

because all your mods make power throughout the entire power band...not just 1-4k rpm

I drive the car every day from home to the naval base and all is city drive. That why notice power in that rpm range. It take less effort to build up speed I don't have to push the gas pedal too far before am doing 45-50 at 3k rpm.

Unlike California where we have tailpipe sniffer test and a visual inspection also . When I did it last month the tech says I have no emissions (I just had 3rd cat off with rv6 v3 jpipe) but "what's that shiny part where the converter should be?"

It's definitely a hassle.
It is not illegal if you have no inspection like in my state. You can run whatever you want , test pipe, straight pipe, delete all cats, whatever, you can have smoke pourin out of your TL with a foul smell, it doesn't matter. There is no inspection, so you are wrong.
Now, if you care a little about the environment you may run high flow cats to help a little.
I am going to run a j-pipe with high flow cats(although I have a type S M/T, I hope their is some substantial gain) and get a tune with hondata flashpro to have the mods working at at an optimum level.
To say you can't run no cats is ridiculous, you in California have the strictest emissions laws in the U.S. If you are on the East coast , run that test pipe!

You're wrong. It doesn't matter if your state/county has testing or not - it's still a felony to tamper with any of your emissions systems.

Well bro, I ran a high flow cat and a header on my Civic Si for years as the cat converter sat in my shed....
Nobody looked under the car for 7 years except my friend that is a mechanic and the honda dealer. Nobody cared.
I don't think anybody cares , except in states that they have inspection is all I am saying. And, High flow cats still protect the environment a little bit

Yeah I'm not implying that you're likely to get into trouble doing so. Just saying that it's illegal regardless of whether your state/county has inspections or not. It's only a matter of time before inspections are federally mandated in all states.

Anyway , let's keep on the topic, I am interested if there will be gains going from type -s cats to high flow cats from a vendor like RV6....or will the gains be neglegible?

There will be some gains, they will just be negligible. To quantify it a bit for you, base cats have 900 cells, type-s has 600 cells, HFPC are either 300 or 200 cells, and PCDs are 0 cells aka straight pipes. Less cells = more flow = freeing up more power.

you will notice gains (not negligible) going from type s to hfpcs...with or without hondata. your exhaust note will get louder as well just as a heads up if you have an aftermarket catback

It's a violation, not a felony, although they reserve the right to slap a hefty fine on you.

Is the hefty fine the only punishment for tempering with the cats?

^^

Richie uses the Magnaflow 59956 and there's a lot of conflicting info as to whether they're 200 or 300 cell. Magnaflow doesn't specify on their site, but do some digging and you'll see the opposing views. I know Berk was using the 59956 on their Nissan/Infiniti cats for awhile and they were advertising them as 300 cell.
