hey whats up
yo guys. what's up? i'm new here. just decided the other day i wanted to buy an acura tl-s, and i bought one today. sold my honda fit and paid for the tl-s and drove home with it. the car is unbelievable. it took me a few hours to find one in manual, and i made the drive to get it. anyway....
i'm looking to get some parts for it. i want to keep it plain and simple. i'm going to get a progress rear sway for sure. can anyone give me websites that have parts for this car for sale?
it's an 07 tl-s manual, and i just want an intake / header / j pipe, etc etc... pretty much anything that'll make the car faster, but not louder, so no catbacks. can anyone recommend anything?

Excelerate is a vendor on here...and you can get most all of this stuff from him or the J-Pipe and such can be attained from Richie on here....high recommends on both of them. Check the black market sponsored sales section on here...as well as the private sale section as you can find most all what you are looking for right here.

i figure, i'm going to get a pre-cat delete, header, intake, and a rear sway bar, and call it a day. i don't need an excessive amount of power, but with the fit, i couldn't pass minivans on the highway flooring it in 3-4 gear in the powerband. LOL.
if i got the mods, what would i need to do to the o2 sensors?

the cat deletes come with defoulers to trick the secondary o2 sensors
as for the fit being slow, bro if and when I get it, I will throw in a built k20

wait. the header is welded to the block? or to the head? hm...
lol. okay. so i was thinking about this..
a pre cat delete kit
j pipe
and third cat delete combo from rv6
(will that mess with emissions?? to my understanding, it comes with stuff to trick the sensors)
a progress rear sway bar
and an aem cold air intake. (will i ever have engine bogging from the cai if it gets too wet out with the cai? or even possibly hydrolock?)
also, i think i want to get the ur pulley, but i won't know how to install it because i'm gay. LOL. nah, but because i suck with belt work.

what state are you in, the cat deletes will not fail inspection if your state simply plugs into the obd2 port, because the ecu thinks the cats are working
but if your state inspection has a nox requirement and they put the vehicle on the dyno, your car will not pass because it has no cats, BUT... you could make yourself a ghetto rigged 3rd cat using a cheap 800 cell cat
bolt that up only for inspection purposes
as for the cold air intake and hydrolock... it is extremely hard to hydrolock unless you drive through those puddles which are ankle high
the pulley is fairly simple to install
if you are anywhere near nyc, hit me up

i'm located in IL. they don't use the dyno. just the obd2 port, so i think i should be good =]

where in IL are u? im in chicago and work in Elgin...i can help with some of ur mods...i was think bout doing the UR pulley as well and maybe a CAI but i too am afraid of the hydrolock cause in the rain in tend to not pay attention to puddles....

i order the pre cats and j pipe and 3rd cat resonater from rich and my check engine light is on i work at hendrick honda and the code was for a caalyst efficentcy code i reset the ecu and i am going to see idf it commes back. im pretty sure it will did fell a power gain at all. some one please tell me if their check engine light came on to
the last one in Canada. btw is there a for sale forum here? I want to see where I can go crazy buying mods for my baby

Defoulers are provided when you purchase the deletes. With the deletes and a race/test pipe, you'll be running catless. Chances are, a CEL won't pop up. If one does and you can see what the code is, post it up on here. Al (stillhere) has a solution to a specific code -- unplug the battery to reset the CEL. I didn't have anything to retrieve the code so I just unplugged my battery. Like I said before, nothing has popped up again.
