hey guys what up, for my brithday last week i got a super sweet car, an 06 TL, i do not know much about parts but i want a louder exhaust, price isnt the problem. please help me out and try to keep it simple as possible lol. thank you guys

 

im not really looking towards performance, just into a deeper tone.
any suggestions?

 

I suggest you take the time and read, search, and read some more on what you are looking for because we just had a thread about this.

Dont be lazy but here is a route some memebers are doing:

If your looking for cheap look into doing "stage" mods
Deleted mid muffler and made the exhaust sound much better..
Delete the 3rd cat and replace it with a resonator magnaflow or dynamax

Also, I cannot stress enough but NOOBS PLEASE CHECK THE STICKY FORUMS at the top of the performance page to get ideas when it come to mods.

Whats a quiet muffler brand? I want to give my car the looks without the sound.

 

it depends on the "tone" your looking for. You should start with straight piping your mid muffler aka the mid muffler delete. Then replace your stock resonator with a magnaflow 10426 muffler. I currently have this setup and love the tone. nice tone and not to loud. The only reason i have this is because im waiting on my RV6 TD exhaust to be made. Hurry Rich . anyway try that first as its fairly cheap to do and see how you like it. For you pefromace guys, buy an aftermarket.
