sounds like an exhaust cutout to me.

 

if it was, we wouldn't be able to see any fumes come out of the rear though ... or am i wrong? @___@ hmmm

 

You will still see exhaust gas coming out the back even if the exhaust cutout is open. At least that's what mine does with the exhaust cutout open.

Might be Stage III exhaust, with Pro cats.

 

Can anyone explain to me what are stage III exhaust, exhaust cutouts, etc.? I'm alawys up for learning something new

 

that vid was someone removing thier resonators.. lots of people do it.

 

If the car had a S/C you'd hear the whine... there was no whine.

 

Removing the stock resonater and replacing it with a dynomax resonator, they run for about $40, and replacing the mid-muffler with straight pipes, but keeping the rear mufflers stock.

You mean just replacing the resonators with straigh pipes? I want my TL to sound a little bit more aggressive, but I don't want the "ricer burner" sound. Does anybody have a vid/sound clip of this? I love the way that TL sounded, but nobody really knows exactly what they did to make it sound like that.
